DAY TO DAY SOME IMPORTANT NOTES:-

1. Max Speeds:-
Turbulence-A-319/320--250 kts upto FL 200, 275 kts upto FL 310 then after .78 M
A-321--270 kts upto FL 200, 300 kts upt FL 280 then after .76 M
Expedite Descent- 340 kts/.80 M
Emergency Descent- 350 kts/.82 M
Vmo/Mmo- 350 kts upto 24600 feet/.82 M
Normal Descent- .78 M/300 kts/250 kts

Alternate Braking-NWS STRG Sw put OFF, Press the Brakes for
1000 psi and hold, PNF reads and CALL the actual Pressure.
4. In case of Alternate Brakes failure- Stop the A/C with Parking
Brakes

High Speed Reject TO - 1. Both Reverser


2. Control by Rudder
3. In case of Normal Brakes failure -Call- "Brakes Failed",
Alternate Braking-NWS STRG Sw put OFF, Press the Brakes for
1000 psi and hold, PNF reads and CALL the actual Pressure.
4. In case of Alternate Brakes failure- Stop the A/C with Parking
Brakes
Evacuation
In case of Fire in air and APU is not available, during Evacuation Put Master Sw
affected off, Discharge the Agent 1 then Agent 2 after that Put another Master Sw to
OFF. If Master Sw put to OFF before discharge of Agent 2 it will not be discharged as
DC Bus will not be available.Evacuation is Challenge and Responce drill now and
seat oriented. PM2 will be the first to leave the A/C by slide and helps the passanges
to move away from A/C. PM1 will be the last person to leave the A/C and he will
leave by AFT Exit door ensuring all passanger and crew already left the A/C.
In case of Fuel Emergency,Ditching etc prepare for Planned Evacuation.
PM1- ATTENTION CREW AT STATION
- PASSANGERS EVACUATE/CREW AND PASSANGERS REMAIN
SEATED.

For Any type of APP


Check For Minima and Visibility if not within APP minma follow the Circular and
multiply it with the factor with full facility available only if RVR is not given.

For Any type of TO


Suddenly if Visibility drops ask for RVR if not within Landing CAT1 Minima of
Departure A/P ck for LVTO Minima, TO Alternate CAT1 Minima, Landing CAT1
Minima if within the TO Alternate Minima consider for LVTO and in case of
Emergency ask for Visibility/RVR of TO station otherwise land at TO alternate. Ck
TAF fór Landing/Alternate Minima at time of ETA.

NWS Fault
ON GND:-
Stop the A/C, Put Parking BRK-ON, Recycle the NWS Lever
If Fault persist- Ask for TOWING Assistance otherwise if Fault is not there return to
the Bay. Limitation- Taxi Speed<10 kts.
In Air:-
Recycle the NWS Lever with L/G UP
If Fault is still there- Continue the Flt (might be corrected after Landing) or Return to
the Base STN (if Towing Facility is not available) .

For APP In case other than HYD STN


Ask for HOLD overhead any facility(VOR/NDB), Insert that I/B of VOR on Rad Nav
Page for Holding. Carry out all checklists and after finishing all work ask for APP and
Confirm No.1 in APP sequence. Ask for Radar Vector. If Radar is not available ask
for HDG and ask to descent to APP level. Request for Track mile to land and
configure the A/C accordingly.
If RVR for Primary RWY drops below Minima ask for Secondary Rwy RVR and Ck
for its minima and Availability.If it is also below minimum consider Diversion.
