Accomplishment Report in DRRM First Quarter

I. Introduction
From the previous years, the Department of Education officially designated July
as the National Disaster Resilience Month because of the fact that many calamities and
natural hazards happened in this month. In compliance to Republic Act 10121 of 2010
also known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act different activities
were done in order for the Filipino increase their awareness especially pupils and school
personnel on natural and man-made hazards for a better appreciation of the department’s disaster
preparedness program. This will help them to be secured once the calamity occurs
II. Accomplishments
With this report, are the following accomplishments for Second Quarter, School
Year 2021-2022:
* Assisted the OES faculty in the Preparation of Limited Face to Face Classes
* Assisted the BFP in monitoring and evaluating the classroom used of the l
learners under Limited Face to Face Classes
* Since that most of the activities were done online, poor connectivity to the internet was
the main problem.
* Most of the learners did not participate in the activities especially on the 2nd National
Simultaneous Earthquake Drill because they were not updated. The only way to
communicate them is by using gadgets like cellphone but unfortunately most of them do
not have.

I.Introduction
In consonance with Republic Act No. 101021, re: Philippine Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Act of 2010, and DepEd Order No. 21, s. 2015 re:
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Coordination and Information Management
Protocol, all schools are directed to form/reconstitute their School Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Committee to spearhead the conduct of
Disaster Risk Reduction/Climate Change Adaptation(DRR/CCA)-related
programs/projects/activities in their respective schools.
The safety of school and its internal stakeholders is the mainstream in having
School Disaster Risk Reduction Management, it that aims to reduce the
vulnerability to, and impact of a disaster. It’s a venue allows to prepare both
teachers and learners for potential disasters. Being designated as School
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Coordinator, it is my duty to
implement with an assurance of positive and productive results in the plans stated
in our school contingency plan. With such duty and responsibility, it is only apt and
proper to be able to practice and internalize the risk reduction measure to
eventually make a habit of being prepared before, during and after a calamity.
II.Accomplishments
With this report, are the following accomplishments for the First Quarter, School
Year 2022-2023:
* Since that most of the activities were done online, poor connectivity to the internet was
the main problem.

With this report, are the following accomplishments for Third Quarter, School Year
2021-2022:
* Monitoring the school premises before, during and after the calamities like
typhoons and earthquake
* Upon monitoring the classroom in preparation for the typhoon, the DRRM Coordinator
found out that there were some classrooms can be flooded.
* One of the problems that may encounter by the learners especially if the earthquake
occurs is by going to the safer place or going to the exit gate. Because the way going
there is surrounded by buildings
