What are your goals for the future? Please give reasons, details and examples to support your
response.
Thinking about the future is one of the most excited things that you could do every day. I am not
sure exactly what will happen tomorrow, but I am sure that I want to help myself build a bright
future every day. Today I have three essential goals in my life. The first is to be able to pass my
toefl certification exam with more than 100 points, I believe that this certification will open many
doors for academic opportunities. When I pass my English certification exam, I will be able to
aspire to my second big goal: to study for a master's degree in Chinese studies at the yenching
academy of Peking University, in Beijing, China. To apply to this master's program I must apply for
a full scholarship to cover all my expenses during the two years that I will live in China. I know that
this program is one of the most demanded in China, so far only 5 Mexicans have managed to enter
and I want to achieve it too. After finishing my master's studies, I want to live permanently in a
foreign country, that has been my biggest dream of a lifetime. I love my country but I also know
that there are many more opportunities abroad. I currently have three options: Canada, France or
Switzerland. Being in the country of my dreams I would like to work in something that I am very
passionate about and succeed in inspiring more people to achieve their dreams abroad. I know that
my dreams seem unattainable, but I am sure that by working hard I can achieve them and tomorrow
they will come true.
