1. Mind Style is world-view.

Basically, it occurs when a writer uses certain stylistic choice that affects
reader's point of view. This influence, then, makes the readers aware of the description being talked
about. The description starts building its own illustration to reader's mind and thus readers could
assume how a text or a description possesses something. That the description makes the readers
understand towards the text. How or what is going on with the description of the text.

2. It is known that mind style gives the world view towards a text or a description. Readers can
illustrate how a text or a description fits in their mind. At times, the world view is unclear and makes
readers unable to understand what is going on. The function of semantics is to give references of
meaning. The absurdity of a text or description will find its way out when semantics gives clear
guidance regarding what it is about.

The water is warm too, for it has slipped twinkling over the yellow sands in the sunlight before
reaching the narrow pool.

Here the phrase "slipped twinkling over the yellow sands" makes it unclear. the description
mentions as if the water was carried from the sun and went down to the river. The semantic does its
work here. The reference of "narrow pool" refers to the river of Salinas River and "the yellow sands"
gives emphasis the warmth of the water.

3. It makes the writing of the description becomes vivid and compact. The synctatic structures are
simple and since the prominent writing is noun and adjective, it adds more clarity towards the text.
Other than that, it also keeps the range of the description. In other words, it rounds the description
of physical appearance and does not go far beyond that.

To me, the style is singling out absurdity. It keeps simplicity and shows the point of the description. It
makes the readers understand of the description as it unravels detail by detail of every part.

4. It makes the description of his work become active because it shows movements. Compared to
Steinback's, Joyce's work looks alive. The description of the text shows activity, while Steinback's
merely shows description of nouns and adjective. It makes the description looks succumb and
inactive.
The mind style shows the world-view. Joyce's description can make readers imagine what is going on
in the text. The verbs of movements guide the readers to follow one activity to another.

5. Unusual mind style applies human action to be applied to inanime things. This creates metaphor
and makes the thing being applied as if they were alive.

"A Saturday afternoon in November was approaching the time of twilight..."

The word "approaching" is human action that is applied to the inanimate "A Saturday afternoon"
