Major Project Ideas / Development

1. Rotoscope Animation
Rotoscoping is an area of animation that I have had a keen interest in, as part of my final project I
want to continue to experiment and build on Rotoscoping. Rotoscoping in all forms is also key to
compositing, e.g it can be used to bring in or remove elements from a scene.

3. Virtual Production - Real Time Compositing

Virtual Production is an area of interest for me. I would like to explore Real Time Compositing in
Unreal Engine and experiment with this during my Major Project.

4. Compositing a 3D Scene
In my Major Project I want to Continue to Expand on my 3D Compositing Skills that I learned last
Semester in the Group Project. I will Continue to use Nuke and Blender for this.

4.1. Continue to use Project Files From Group Work Submission

In the Shot Where the Donut Flies through the air I got feedback that the Environment was too Dark
and there was more I could have added to the scene. I will go back and add these elements to the
scene and improve upon what I learned in Nuke last semester.

I want to create a composting portfolio as my overall final project. I looked at some showreels of other
Juniors to get a feel for some of the things that I should include and the best way to edit all of my work
together.
