Responden menganggap Kuala Lumpur kurang aktivitas, konektivitas
dan aksesibilitas, sehingga memiliki potensi ruang hilang deskriptif.
Responden juga merasa bahwa lebih banyak aktivitas sosial ekonomi
akan membantu mencegah ruang yang hilang secara deskriptif,
terutama jika aktivitas tersebut memiliki konektivitas dan aksesibilitas
yang lebih baik dengan lingkungan sekitar.

Menurut saya, di Indonesia pun banyak terdapat tempat-tempat Lost


Space di beberapa titik yang kurang diminati oleh masyarakat, entah
karena salasatu faktor pemicu yg dijelaskan diatas, atau tempat
tersebtu memang belum terdefinisi tujuan pembentukannya.

Kepentingan pemangku kepentingan/perusahaan yang bertekad


untuk bertanggung jawab atas ruang publik cukup penting karena
sektor ini sering melakukan pekerjaan yang buruk dalam mengelola
ruang-ruang yang menjadi tanggung jawabnya, ruang-ruang yang
masih merupakan sebagian besar wilayah publik dibiarkan kosong
begitu saja tanpa ada kejelasan mau dijadikan apa sisa-sisa ruang ini.

Kita membutuhkan sistem perencanaan yang kuat. Mungkin cara


pengoperasiannya yang perlu ditinjau. Diperlukan kepekaan yang
terima
kasih
lebih besar dalam penerapan undang-undang perencanaan untuk
kontrol yang lebih baik atas lokasi gedung-gedung tinggi,
infrastruktur, ruang publik, perhatian yang lebih besar terhadap
kawasan bersejarah
