ENVIRONMENT POLICY
Policy Statements

Work Place Controls

 The Company shall carry out regular and complete asbestos exposure monitoring of workers.

 The Company shall maintain a permanent register of worker exposure.

 The Company shall provide or arrange for medical surveillance of workers potentially exposed
to asbestos.

 The Company shall provide the workers exposed to asbestos dust with protective gear.

 The Company shall establish procedures for dealing with emergency situations related to
potential health risk from unexpected dust exposure.

 The Company shall strive for waste reduction and have procedures for the approved disposal
of waste containing asbestos from the work place to its final destination.

 The Company shall monitor all the manufacturing operations where asbestos is used, and
maintain records of engineering controls.

 The Company shall provide education, information and training about risks related to all
aspects of asbestos & their method of prevention & control.

Environment Controls

 The Company shall ensure that all dust emission to air shall be discharged through an efficient
dust arresting system.

 The Company shall implement water and waste recycling processes in so far as is
technologically feasible and reasonably practicable.

 The Company shall make appropriate arrangements to dispose off their waste in a manner to
avoid contamination of air, land & water.

Product Stewardship

 The Company through its system implementation shall ensure that proper and reliable
packaging, transportation and labeling procedures are adopted by the fibre suppliers to
reduce the risk of fibre exposure.
