SIP2.

0 Configuration Document (Using VTO as Server)

This document mainly describes the SIP2.0 large baseline program, new WEB interface of VTO, and
configuration of two-to-two group call from VTO to indoor unit, including adding a VTS using VTO as
server without a platform.
Devices involved in this system: VTO1210B-X, VTO2000A, VTH5221D, VTH2221A, VTS5240B.
I. Configuring WEB interface of VTO
1. SIP server setting of VTO: enable SIP Server to use the VTO as the server. Do not change other
information in this interface. Check Enable, save and restart the device.

2. After the device restarts, go to the Household Setting interface. Now you can see there is a VTO
numbered 8001 with the same IP of its own in VTO No. Management. 8001 is the server VTO as well as
the main VTO. Add sub VTOs, if any, in this interface and number them from 8002. Enter the IP address
of the sub VTO. Username and password are the same as the ones for logging in the webpage of the
VTOs. VTO as server is mainly applicable to one detached building, so there is no Build No. or Unit No.
Both are grayed out by default. Save after setting is completed.
3. When finished, all VTOs added to the server are displayed in the interface.

4. If you want the indoor units to perform group calls as main and sub devices, enable Group Call for the
VTOs first, so that room numbers with #0 or #1 can be added. Check Group Call for both main and sub
VTOs. Click Save.

5. Adding indoor unit. Add indoor units in this interface. Batch add and single add are both available.
Choose the adding method according to the number of indoor units. The first three items are optional, but
the Room No. is required when adding indoor units. Register Type remains as public. Register
Password is 123456 by default. Do not change it. When group call is not needed, set the Room No. as
9901 or 9901#0. When group call is needed, set the Room No. with a #, such as 9901#0 or 9901#1. The
Room No. of the indoor unit interface should be the same as the one added to the VTO. Take 9901 as an
example. Add 9901#0 and 9901#1 for group calls of main and sub VTOs. Click Issue Card for the
corresponding Room No. of the indoor units. Swipe the card that needs authorization. Click Save. The
card is now bound to the corresponding Room No. of the indoor unit.
6. Add VTS in VTS Management on the WEB end of the VTO. Click Add to add VTS. In the pop-up
interface, enter the VTS No. with the complete VTS number, which is 888888 + VTS No. The latter is 101
by default . The complete VTS No. usually is 888888101. Register Password is 123456. Do not change
it. IP Address is the IP address of the VTS. Click Save.

7. Without a platform, the VTO can call the VTS by dialing 888888101. If a one-button call is required,
modify the Center Call No. to 888888101.

In the case of villa station, call both the indoor unit and VTS. Modify the Center Call No. to 888888101.
Set the time period of Call Center Time. Check Enable so that the villa station is able to call the manager
in a certain period of time and call the indoor unit for other time periods. Set Villa Call No. as the Room
No. of the indoor unit.
8. SIP Server settings of the sub VTO.
Do not check Enable for SIP server.
Choose VTO as Server Type.
IP: enter the address of the server VTO.
Port: 5060.
Username: grayed out by default and no change needed.
Password: register password 123456. No change needed.
SIP Domain: VDP.
SIP Server Username: enter the username of VTO.
SIP Server Password: enter the password of VTO.
Save and restart the device.

II. Indoor Unit Configuration

1. Main Indoor Unit Configuration. Long press Setting for 6s or more to enter the engineering configuration
password and initialize a 6-digit password for the indoor unit.
2. Set the IP address of the indoor unit. If the indoor unit accesses to wireless network, you can set a
wireless IP. This document only uses wired connection as an example. Save after IP is set.

3. Set Room No. to 9901#0 as the main indoor unit. Click OK to save. Enable SSH if you need to connect
the device with tools such as CRT.
4. SIP Server Configuration
Server IP: enter the IP of the main VTO.
Port: 5060. Username: grayed out by default.
Register Password: 123456 by default. Do not change it.
Domain: VDP.
Username: enter the username of the VTO.
Login Pwd: enter the password of the VTO.
Enable Status: on. Save the settings.

5.VTO Config
Main_VTO Name: enter the name of the main VTO. It can be a combination of letters and numbers.
VTO IP Address: enter the IP address of the main VTO.
User name: enter the username of the main VTO.
Password: enter the password of the main VTO.
Enable Status: on
Sub_VTO Name: enter the name of the sub VTO. It can be a combination of letters and numbers.
VTO IP Address: enter the IP address of the sub VTO.
User name: enter the VTO user name.
Password: enter the password of the VTO.
Enable Status: on

6. The sub indoor unit configuration. Login configuration and settings follow the same rules. Set IP-related
information accordingly.

7. Change the indoor unit type to Extension in the VTH Config.

Room No.: 9901#1
Master IP: enter the IP of the main indoor unit.
Master Name: enter the username of the main indoor unit.
Master Pwd: enter the configuration password of main indoor unit.
SSH Enable: optional. Switch on or off as needed.
Save after setting is completed.

8. The only action needed on the SIP Server interface is to switch on Enable. The rest of the information
is in sync with the main indoor unit information.
9. Enable the corresponding VTO on VTO Config interface to monitor and unlock VTOs.

III. VTS Configuration

1 Enter the initial password to access the main interface of the device. Click Advance Config and enter
the initial password to access the Config interface.
2. Set the No., Local IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway and other information for VTS. Click Save.

3.SIP Server IP: enter the IP address of the main VTO.

Port: 5060
User name: grayed out by default. The grayed-out number is the complete number of the VTS.
Password: The password here is the register password 123456. No change needed.
Domain: VDP.
4. Adding devices in Device Info. Switch off both Building Enable and Unit Enable when using VTO as
the server. Choose to add VTO or Fence Station accordingly.
Click Add Device and the following interface pops up.
Name: enter the name accordingly.
Middle No. is the number of VTO. You cannot enter one by default. It is in sync with the entered IP and
other information.
IP: the IP address of the VTO.
Username: the username of VTO.
Password: the password of VTO.
Network Port: 13801 by default and no change needed.
Enable Status: on
5. Enable Debug if you want to connect devices with tools such as CRT.
