Specific purpose: To persuade the audience about why they should donate laptops to the B40
community.

Central idea: The lack of laptops made the B40 community face problems like children facing
difficulties in online learning, and unemployment rate of the B40’s rises.
Main Points:

1. The B40 children faced difficulties in online learning.

- B40 children had to attend classes, do homework, and take exams using their
mobile phones.
- They might end up sharing one mobile phone among many family members.
- In the end, they lose interest in learning.
- In my opinion, donating laptops to the B40 children can help them to study in a
more effective way, and decrease the rates of school dropouts.

2. The rate of unemployment in the B40’s has increased.

- When the pandemic was still going on, the B40 families could not work at their
workplace.
- Then, work from home is introduced to the public. Unfortunately, the B40’s could
not afford a laptop to work at home. So, they could not get enough income to
support the family.
- Thus, their income becomes much lower, and they eventually lose their jobs.
- By donating laptops to the B40’s , it helps them to get more job opportunities and
increase their income.
