The correlation analysis will be used for this study.

It is used to discover if there is any significanct


connections between the two variablel. Correlation Analysis is statistical method that is used to discover
if there is a relationship between two variables/datasets, and how strong that relationship may be.

Trough correlation analysis can be done in a different ways, the most common method is survey method
and its procedure follows:

1. Design the survey: Ensure that the questions yield data that is numerical and ordinal;

2. Test your survey: Ensure that all questions are functioning so that data will be correct and valid;

3. Administer your survey, and then collect and clean the data;

4. Calculate the data

Procedure. Prior to the actual data gathering, the researchers distributed the research questionnaires to
the selected food delicacies enterprises. After giving them a day or two to answer the research
questionnaires, the researchers personally gathered the needed data. Upon the completion of the target
population the researchers tallied the gathered data and crafted the finding, conclusions and
recommendations.

Purpose of the Study and Research Design

The main purpose of this study is to determine the status of and problems among food delicacies
enterprises in Iloilo City. The data in this non-experimental research will be tallied, tabulated and
analyzed using the mean and standard deviation for descriptive analysis and Kruskal-Wallis test for
inferential analysis. All data will be processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS)
software in the design of findings, conclusion and recommendation.
