    What is the time that the writer is waiting for? How does it contrast with the world today,
    according to the narrator?
    Answer
    The writer wants asleep to see the time that must come some day when man will have conquered
    nature, and toil-worn human race enter upon an era of peace. In today’s world there are some
    improvements but not as well, but man conquered the natural phenome of food as writer says.
    Now its easy to travel, there is use of machines in every field of life. This life is better then the
    unceasing toils of its working classes, its strife, its poverty and wars.

    Answer
    According to the man in Asbestos, the old age was a germ that kill the body at last but now there
    in no concept of death because that silent germ is eliminated. In this world no one die because
    we eliminated death.

    According to my point of view this is not a humorous story but having a message that to take
    everything in research to conquer the problems of life that always disturb our life. To me the
    concept of elimination of death was little humorous. To conclude that this story shows pride
    which is opposable.
