Stanley knife.
Metal scraper or alternatlve which is at least an 1” wide. I used a metal ruler.
Scotchlok connectors, or other form of making electrical connections.
Additional Male/Female plug connectors so that you can remove the vents without having to cut the wiring. This is what I
did.
ENSURE that the GREY/BLUE stripe wire is the ILLUMINATION POSITIVE and the BROWN is NEGATIVE.

1, Remove passenger side air vent using a metal ruler. The passenger vent is NOT attached with screws and is push fit.
Use the ruler on either side to lever the vent out.
2. Remove the centre air vents again using the metal ruler. You need to remove the vents first to get access to the torx
screws behind, and then remove the trim piece and switches.

6. Pass the wire from the Passenger side, behind the glove box to the centre vents. You may need to remove the trim
from the side of the dash to see what where you need to pass the wire. Take care that you don’t trap the wire so that it
affects the passenger side air bag.
Connect the wire from the passenger side vent to the wiring harness for the switches in the centre console. I used the
Illumination wire from the Rear Demister to power the passenger vent Illumination. Grey wire with blue strip for positive,
Brown for Negative. I soldered directly onto the terminal in the connector block.

7. Fit the wiring for the centre vents and connect up as above. The power for the Illumination of the centre vents was
taken from the Hazard light switch. Fit the frame for the centre vents and pass the wire through the hole in the bottom of
the frame.
