International Conference on Sustainable and Innovative Solutions for India

IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus organised the 4th International Conference on Sustainable and
Innovative Solutions for India @75: a journey towards “Atmanirbhar Bharat” on the 12th and
13th of May 2023. IMS Ghaziabad UC campus was pleased to organize this multi-disciplinary
conference discussion, with focus on management, sciences, information technology and
media. Just like the last 3 international conferences , this conference became successful as
well, consisting of researchers and academicians from all across the country, where
participants contributed to the success of the programs and got the opportunity for publishing
their research work in reputed journals.
A very successful inaugural program was witnessed on 12th May in the physical mode at the
campus where eminent guests graced the, occasion and discussed many critical aspects of
Indian journey until now and future ahead. We had the privilege of having, Prof (Dr)
Nageshwar Rao (Vice Chancellor, IGNOU, New Delhi) as the Chief Guest, Prof (Dr)
Ramesh C Gaur (Director, NSD, New Delhi & IGNCA, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India)
as the key note speaker, Mr Ramveer Tanwar (aka the Pond Man) (Environmentalist and
TEDx Speaker,) as the Guest of Honour, Mr Upkar Singh (VP – IT, RMSI, Noida) as the
guest of honour and Prof. Ramesh Chandra Deka (MBBS,
MS,FIMSA,FIAO,FAAO(USA)Former Director – AIIMS, New Delhi) as the guest of
honour during the inaugural session .
The Valedictory was graced by the presence of, Mr Ashish Srivastava (Associate Director,
CSR, EY Foundation, New Delhi) and Mr Pramod Bhat (Sr. Director GSI and SaaS Alliances
& Channels, India at Oracle) as guest of honour and Dr. Ajay Kumar, Associate Professor,
School of Science, Technology and Environment Universidad Ana G Mendez, San Juan PR
USA as the Chief Guest.
The inaugural was followed by the 1st session of paper presentation by various vibrant
participants from different course backgrounds.

On 13th May, the conference resumed in the online mode with a 2nd and 3rd session and the
participants kept coming in with their sheer enthusiasm one after the other to present their
papers. The third session began with the welcoming of External Session chair Dr. Jagdip
Singh Sohal and Internal session chair Dr Priyanka Srivastava. The rules of the were
specified, followed by the participants starting their presentations with a seven minute paper
presentation, followed by a three minute question and answer round by the session chairs or
other viewers.
The students presenting papers included Satyam Bathla from SIS/SOB/029 on the topic of
“Gene inhibition: by epigenetic agent”, Deshna from SIS/SOB/030 on the topic ”Molecular
role of non-coding RNAs in causing an early detection of breast cancer”, Sanchi Kaushik
from SIS/SOB/031 on the topic “Potential therapeutic effects of THC, CBD,THCV and CBG
in bipolar disorder”, and Nidhi Priya from SIS/SOB/033 on the topic “To develop novel
approaches to counter mycobacterium tuberculosis infection & amp; It’s resistance. An
overview ”, followed by an interactive question and answer round by Dr Sohal, Dr Srivastav
and Dr Umesh Kumar. After the presentations were over, Dr Sohal and Dr Srivastav shared
their gratitude towards the success of the session with their words of enlightenment and
wisdom. Lastly, Prof. Neha Antal proposed a formal vote of thanks as the faculty coordinator
of the session, after which the session and the conference itself came to it’s successful end.
