Types of inventory

Finished products: Here the products are stored, which no

longer need to go through a production line, and can be sold.

in an intermediate stage of production and these range from

MRO: MRO inventory refers to the management of spare parts
for critical production equipment; transportation facilities and
equipment that businesses depend on on a daily basis.

The main purpose of this inventory is to ensure the operational
continuity of a production unit while it is in operation; until the
time of the next scheduled plant shutdown.

 Types of inventory

ROP :refers to the stock level of a warehouse that indicates the

need to be replenished. a limit level of inventories, which tells us
that a new order must be placed with our suppliers in order not
to have stock breakages.
The reorder point groups in its concept the level of safety stock
and the delivery times of the merchandise by the supplier, to
determine the limit point.
The objective is to achieve a balance between the costs of the
merchandise and the risk of stock outs through effective
management.
