Hello everyone, How was your day? Firstly, Let me introduce myself, my name's
Racheal Mustika Rahmadani Siregar, you can call me Rahel. Today I will review the text
of the novel,' Dikta dan Hukum' by Dhia'an Farah. Before that, I want to show you my
plans to study English. As you can see, the first plan is when I watch a film or series, I
always use English subtitles, but sometimes when I don't understand what they're saying,
I use some web to check the meaning or go back to using Bahasa. The second plan is that
when I read some books or comics, I prefer to read those that use English to increase
vocabulary or grammar. And the last plan is to use songs or music to improve my
listening and speaking skills.

The novel Dikta dan Hukum tells the story of a law student named Pradikta, who is
betrothed to a high school student named Nadhira. Their parents set him up because
they've been friends since childhood. Dikta is described as the perfect figure and dream
of a woman that's intelligent, rich, kind, diligent, affectionate, and handsome.

While Nadhira is a 12th-grade high school student with a grumpy and lazy character,
unlike Dikta, who is disciplined and severe, Nadhira likes to complain and is famous for
wanting a lot and being a little stubborn. For your info, Nadhira had a boyfriend, his
name's Seno.

Sadly, Dikta has been diagnosed with kidney disease since he joined the universities. And
who knows about this? Only his mother, even the Friends of Dikta, no one knows about
this. Dikta didn't want his friends to know about his disease. Dikta always helped Nadhira
in doing tasks related to law. Even Dikta was very hard to teach Nadhira so that she could
pass PTN.

In the end, Dikta's disease is known by his four friends. Gradually the condition began to
terrorize, making Dikta's body swell and often drop. But there is a promise that Dikta
made to Nadhira they will go to the beach after Nadhira finishes the National Exam. He
did it the day before the exam. However, his condition declined, and on the fourth day of
the National Examination, Dikta passed away.

That brings us to the end of this presentation. To quickly recap, I'd like you to remember
these key point,

"No matter how strong a chapter binds a law, there will still be one supreme law,
the law of God."
