Methodology of Wash Room,Utility,Balcony waterproofing:

Surface Preparation:

 Carrying out surfaced preparation work required for grinding the entire
surfaced with hand grinder.
 Clean the surface thoroughly with mechanical means and make the surface
free from dirt and loose material.

Pound Test : Will keep 1 feet water for 48hrs on mother slab for checking the
leakage, if any leakage identified then below grouting process will be caried out.

Grouting: (if Leakage found then below process will be followed)

 Drill the 12mm dia hole near the honey comb / construction joint /
V Grove area.
 Fix 10 mm dia PVC nozzles with epoxy based putty in the grout holes.
 Prepare grout by mixing Pidicrete AM, non-shrink grout admixture in to the
neat cement. 225 gram packet of Pidicrete AM shall be mixed with 50 kg of
cement.
 Grouting to be done @40Psi with grouting machine till the full saturation of
the grouting hole.
 Fill the grove with PMM mixed with Dr.fixit pidicrete URP as per stranded
dosage.

Crack Filling : Open all visible cracks and feel the same with PMM, ready to use
polymer modified non shrink mortar.

Coving Installation :- Providing and installing coving at all corners in required

size using polymer modified mortar of CM 1:4 admixed with URP, Acrylic based,
multipurpose, concentrated, liquid polymer additive, at of 250ML per bag of 25 Kg
cement.

Polymer Coating : Mixer with required quantity of clean cement & mix Pidilite
URP,as per the dosages recommended by Pidilite, and one coat of same mixed
portion will be applied on entire prepared surface with bresh & rollers.

Application of Dr.fixit Pidifien 2K Cementitious Coating :

 Using a slow speed mechanical mixer and a clean suitable mixing vessel,
slowly add the powder component to the liquid polymer and stir until a
smooth and homogenous slurry, is achieved.
 Allow the mixed slurry to stand for 5 – 10 minutes before use.
 Do not dilute the mixture with water.
 Apply Dr. Fixit Pidifien 2K slurry by brush, roller or trowel.

 Allow the first coat to dry completely for 4 – 6 hours before applying the
second coat.
 Apply second coat at right angles to the first coat.

Curing : ( Final Test)

 Fill the water over the protection screed & carry out curing for 7 days.
