OATH OF RECEPTION OF NEW MEMBERS

(Right after Prayers After Communion)

C: Please all be seated as we witness the reception of new members of the Ladies of
Charity in our Parish. May I call on the President of the Ladies of Charity, AIC
Philippines, Sister Leny Macalino. ( Stands at the Ambo).

SIS. LENY : Good morning/afternoon/evening to all. To our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr.
Raymundo A. Regua, CM., may I respectfully present the __ new members after having
found them committed and worthy members of the Ladies of Charity, AIC Philippines,
of Santuario de San Vicente de Paul Parish and Shrine of the Poor.
( The candidates may now stand and walk toward the foot of the Altar.)

PARISH PRIEST: As Parish Priest, I hereby administer the Oath on you as members of
the Ladies of Charity, AIC Philippines on this 14th day of May, 2023. Please raise your
right hand and pledge your responsibility as new members.

MEMBER: I, (state your name), having join as member of the Ladies of Charity, AIC
Philippines, do solemnly promise that:
a). I will maintain true faith and abiding loyalty to the sublime principles and ideals of
charity of St. Vincent de Paul for which the organization stands.
b). I will abide by its laws and in the discharge of my duties I will be guided by its rules
and regulations.
c). I will do my best to help in the realization of its noble and worthy objectives in the
service of the poor and the afflicted in solidarity with my colleagues. These I pledge
voluntarily without any reservations and with the help of our founder, St. Vincent de Paul
and of St  Louise de Marillac, shall thus witness the Charity of Christ.

PARISH PRIEST: Please keep in mind that the Oath binds you to the faithful
commitment of your duties to the best of your abilities. May God bless you and guide
you always.

( The Priest may now bless the Crucifixes and Blue Books and members with Holy
Water, while Parish Priest hands over to them, they wait for the last member to receive
it, then  all members bow toward the Altar and turn to bow toward the assembly and
return to their respective seat.)
