The role of English in education in Mozambique

Mozambique was the Portuguese colony during long period. Local or indigenous
languages were extremely prohibited in education.
Mozambique got its independence in 1975, twenty three local languages were
identified. Even though still not recognized in education. They are regarded or treated
as dialects- dialetos, just for local applyence
