INTRODUCTION & INSTRUCTIONS:

1. NTDC is introducing new Health Insurance Policy for provision of better health facility to its
employees. As per the policy, In-Patient health facility will be provided by the health Insurance
Company through its Panel hospitals in major cities of Pakistan, whereas an allowance of 10% of
running basic pay (Minimum Rs.3000/- and Maximum Rs 10000/-) per month in lieu of OPD will be
paid.

2. The salient features of the Health Insurance Policy is Annexed (Annex-A).
3. Before proceeding, all NTDC employees are required to give their option as to whether they agree to opt
the proposed Health Insurance Policy or want to continue with the existing health facility as provided by
the WAPDA through its hospitals and Dispensaries.
4. The option once exercised will be final and cannot be changed in any way under any circumstances.

DM HR / functional head for MD Office employees.
