 ABSTRACT
The study sought to find out the challenges the secretarial students face during attachment. This
study is written to show the research on why the students face the challenges. The study was
conducted at Kisumu National Polytechnic and the data was collected through questionnaires.
The data collected was presented through frequency tables and graphical representations. The
study reveals that the students at the Kisumu National Polytechnic face a lot of challenges during
industrial attachment. Therefore the school and the organization are advised to check on their on
attachment. The organization is advised to motivate the students during that period.
