Safety Precautions
WARNING:
Do not use this STB where contact with or immersion in water is a possibility. Do not use
near flower vase, washbowls, kitchen sinks, laundry tubs, swimming pools, etc.
Do not put the candle or lamp stand on the cabinet; otherwise, there is a danger of fire.
The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating
instructions or as marked on the unit. If you are not sure of the type of power supply (for
example, 120 or 230 V) to your home, consult your local dealer or local power company.
This product contains sensitive electronic components, do not open cabinet and touch inside.
Consult your local dealer for technical service if opening of the STB is required.
Unit Cleaning: After the unit power is turned off, you can clean the cabinet, panel and remote control
with a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution.
Attachments: Never add any attachments and/or equipment without the manufacturer’s consent;
such additions may result in the risk of fire, electric shock, or other personal injury.
Location: Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation to protect the STB from
overheating. Do not block these openings or allow them to be blocked by placing the STB on a bed,
sofa, or other similar surface, nor should it be placed over a radiator or heat register.
Power-Cord Protection: Place the power-supply cord out of the way, where it will not be walked
upon. Please pay special attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where
they exit from the unit.
Object and Liquid Entry: Never put objects of any kind into this STB through openings, as it may
touch dangerous points or short-circuit parts that could result in electric shock. Never spill any liquid
in the STB.
Parts Replacement: When the STB needs to be repaired the user should make sure that this STB is
serviced by the manufacturer or authorized service centre. Use only the manufacturer-specified spares
to avoid electric shock or any other hazards.
Safety Check: After all the maintenance and repairs are done, user should request the service
technician to conduct the overall safety check to ensure that the machine is in the proper condition.
Basic Operation
1. Turn on STB
Make the connection as given in connection diagram. Turn on the STB by switching on the adaptor
mains power supply.
2. Standby
Press [Standby] key for the STB to enter the Standby state.
In Standby state, press [Standby] key again to recall the last channel.
User can also disconnect the device’s main power to end the Standby state.
5. Number
In full screen, use number key and press [OK] on the Remote Control Unit to change channel.
6. Mute
Press [MUTE] key to mute the sound and the screen will show up mute on the screen.
Press [MUTE] key again to restore sound.
7. Pause
In play mode, press [PAUSE] key, the picture will be paused.
Press [PAUSE] key again, the screen’s picture will skip over to the current playing picture, and the
sound of the channel will play correspondingly.
8. Audio
In full screen, press [AUDIO] key to open the “Audio Setting” window on the screen.
9. TV/Radio
In TV mode, pressing [TV/RADIO] key can switch to Radio mode. In Radio mode, press
[TV/RADIO] key to switch to TV mode.
11. Recall
In full screen press [RECALL] key to switch to the last viewed channel. The program name and
channel information are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
12. FAV
This key can call up the Fav Channel Group List when there are no other menus in full screen.
13. Menu
Press [MENU] key to open the menu, exit the current menu to last menu or close the window.
14. OK
Press [OK] key to open the channel list. Press [Left/Right] keys to move the highlight and press
[OK] to play the highlighted channel.
15. EXIT
Press [EXIT] key to exit the current menu to last menu or close the window.
16. REC
Press [REC] key to record program on USB. Then you can do pause, step, fast forward, fast back,
slow forward, slow back.
17. STOP
Press the [STOP] key while recording to stop recording.

A. Satellite List
This Set Top Box is pre-tuned for channels on DD Freedish Satellite.
The user can use this Set Top Box to receive the satellite channels from the other satellites too, for
which the user has to set the new satellite information using this menu. The Satellite list under
Installation menu can be used for adding, editing or deleting satellite/TP. Menu/Exit can exit the
menu. On selecting a satellite, the on-screen display (OSD) shows:
The left and right buttons switch highlight from the satellite list on the left to the satellite parameter
bar on the right. Press the Ok button to highlight or deselect the satellite when highlight is on a
satellite.
1. To add a new satellite in the list, press red button and enter the name, longitude, direction and
size for your reference.
2. Press the blue button function key to open satellite search /scan menu, as shown below:

3 Press Blue button to open the TP scan menu. Make the selection as required and press
OK to start the search.

Note: This function will delete all the stored and tuned channels from the Set Top Box and will
bring it to the initial default setting.

1. Move highlight to “Setup” and press (Vol up/down) keys to select the game level (level of
difficulty).
2. Move highlight to "Start" and press [OK] key to start the game.
3. Move highlight to [Cancel] keys and press [OK] key to draw back from the game.
4. Start on the game. [Vol Up/ Vol down /Ch Up/ Ch down] - use this arrow to guide
chessman; [Ok] - set chessmen; [Exit] - Quit game

Under System – screen will show:

When Parental Lock is selected with OK button it asks for the input password. The default
password is “0000”.
You can set Menu Lock – On/Off, Channel Lock – On/Off and change password.

One can change OSD (On Screen Display) timeout period and transparency as per your
requirement.
F. Favorite
In Favorite mode, you can create your favorite bouquet names up to 16.

You can see images on the TV which are stored in the Pen Drive.

Note: It will run only supported files.
E. HDD Information
This display will show the memory details of the connected Pen Drive.
F. DVR Configuration
One can set Time Shift and DVR Partition as per requirement.
Press the pause button during recording, the AV pauses, the recording function does not pause,
and then press the pause to cancel the pause and the AV jumps directly to the actual time to resume
playback.
Press the stop button or the up and down button to stop recording.
After the recording is completed, enter the Record Manager list in the Record Manager to see the
newly added video program. The recorded program files are saved to the PVRS directory created
in the USB root directory.

OSD display
1. OK button: Play the program.
2. Yellow button: pop-up enter the password box, enter the correct password 0000 and then lock
or un-lock the recorded program.
3. Blue button: Delete the program.
4. Red button: Rename.
5. Green key: Switch to another partition
6. Menu/Exit: Exit the menu.
When playing a recorded program, OSD: The keys supported during playback are:
a) Play: Play.
b) Pause: Pause or resume playback.
c) Stop: Stop playing.
d) FB, FF: Fast rewind and fast forward
e) Revslow, Slow: previous/next program.
f) Menu/Exit: Exits.
