Analyse the Case Data (apply course related theories, concepts and tools) including Cause and Effect:
 Shop Thursday is a brand which grew its customer base very organically. The company was boot strapped from
a small location and when a good response was receive the owners took a calculated decision each time to
expand in different channels. This shows that the owners are well aware about the business, the industry and
the market in which they are operating.
 Covid-19 led a significant rise in the online shopping trend and as Thursday was an organically grown brand its
consumer base grew significantly during this period leading to creation of a new sales channel for the firm.
 Based on the CVP analysis, break even ratio and forecasting, the owners have to make a vital decision of their
sales channel mix so that errors can be reduced and overall profitability of the firm rises. This decision will have
a huge impact on how the company manages its operations, inventories and promotional activities.

ALTERNATIVE 1  Maintain its Exchange Tower Retail outlet and shelves the idea of using influencer marketing to
increase sales revenues and one on one interaction with the customer in order to better
understand the market.
ALTERNATIVE 2  Focus on the influencer (partnership) marketing strategy by channelizing the funds and cease
the operations of the Exchange Tower outlet, thereby reducing the fixed overheads and
achieving efficiency.
ALTERNATIVE 3  Focus on streamlining its back-end order processing operations by building a team, revive the
Exchange Tower outlet and grow its online consumer base organically using its br ick & mortar
stores and shelf the influencer partnership program.
Decision among the stated alternatives will be made based on the qualitative analysis, like: pros &
cons, SWOT, PESTEL & market trend analysis, and quantitative analysis, like CVP analysis, BEP
analysis & financial forecasting.
