ICE MELT
1. The class will be divided into two or more teams with an
equal number of members. They will submerge and line up
at one end of the pool, across the blocks of ice standing a
meter away from the pool gutter at the other end. A block
will be assigned to each Team
2. At the teacher’s cue, the first player will cross to the other
side by walking or swimming He/She will then get out of
the pool and squeeze the water from his/her clothes over
the ice in an attempt to melt it. When he/she is done,
he/she will go back to his/her team, and tag the next player
to do the same.
3. The first team to melt the ice or the team with the smallest
block of ice at the end of the game wins.

FILL UP THE Mechanics
PAIL 1. The class will be divided into two or more teams with an
equal number of members. They will submerge and line
up at one end of the pool, across the pails standing a
meter away from the pool gutter at the other end. A pail
will be assigned to each team
2. The first player will also be given a small cup. At the
teacher’s go signal, he/she will cross to the other side, get
out of the pool, fill the cup with pool water, and go to the
pail. He/she will pour the content of the cup in the pail
and squeeze his/her clothes to put more water in the
container. When he/she is done, he/she will go back to
his/her team, tag the next player, and give him/her the
cup.
3. The first team to fill up the pail or the team with the
most amount of water at the end of the game wins.
HANDSTAND
CONTEST Mechanics
 One of the most well-known classic swimming
pool games is the handstand contest. Players
compete to see who can hold a handstand
underwater the longest. The player that comes up
for air, falls over, or whose feet touch the surface of
the water first, loses Go for a tournament or try to
break timed records. It is recommended to have a
judge who watches players and keeps track of wins
and losses.

2. Each team will choose one member to be
blindfolded. The other members will be submerged
in the swimming pool, holding plastic cups.
3. At the teacher’s cue, the blindfolded player (with
his/her back to the pool) will hold the Box of balls and
throw the balls one by one to the pool. His/her
teammates will try to Catch them using their cups.
Then, they must put the balls in the basket on the
other Side of the pool.
4. The team with the most number of balls in their
basket wins the game.

PASS THE 1. The class will be divided into two groups with an

the pool.
2. At the teacher’s cue, the first player will pass the
ball backward between his/her legs to The next
player. This will continue until the ball reaches
the last player.
3. The last player must bring the ball to the teacher.

PASS THE 1. The class will be divided into two or more teams with
MARBLE an equal number of members The team will form
their lines from one end of the pool to the other Each
player will be given a cup or bowl. The first player will
have five marbles in his/her container
2. At the teacher’s cue, the first player will toss one
marble to the next player’s container carefully. The
goal is for all the marbles to reach the last player
without bouncing off and dropping into the water in
three minutes. If a marble is dropped, a new one will
be given to the first player to pass again.
3. The team with the most number of marbles wins.
Materials
 20-30 plastic egg balls
EGG CRUNCH  Permanent marker
Mechanics
 Using a marker, number the plastic egg balls with a point value,
then scatter them across the pool. Divide players into two teams.
After the go signal, players jump into the pool and race to collect
plastic egg balls for their team. Players can only carry one ball at a
time and must place it in their team’s basket to score before
grabbing another one. Once all of the plastic egg balls have been
collected, tally up the scores. The team with the highest score
wins.
 “Optional: For a fun twist, try adding bonuses for matching
certain numbers (Additional 2 points for matching numbers and 5
points for four or more matching numbers).
Materials
 40 ping-pong balls
 4 different colored markers
Mechanics
PING-PONG  Mark each set of ten ping-pong balls with a specific color dot,
then scatter the balls across the pool surface.
SCRAMBLE  Players divide into even teams and line up along the edge of the
pool. Each team is assigned both a color and basket. On “go,”
players jump into the water to retrieve the ping-pong balls that
correspond to their color
 The first team to collect all of their ping-pong balls wins.
 *Optional: Subtract a point for collecting the wrong color ball.
