As a staff nurse duties and responsibilities includes,

- Admission of patient according to the hospital procedure.
- Transfer and discharge of patients
- Follow nursing process in assessing, planning, implementation and evaluating
daily individual patient care.
- Two hourly change of positions giving steam inhalation, mobilization,
administering oxygen.
