produced with care in order to provide you quality and performance in a best way.
This User Manuel explains the steps of installation, operation and maintenance of ÜZÜMCÜ branded
Examination and Intervention Lights. Please read carefully all the information about operation and safety of
this product.

3. FOR YOUR SAFETY

3.1. GENERAL INFORMATION
For the use of examination and intervention lights, by providing safety for both the patient and user, and its
maintenace;
• Before using examination and intervention lights, be sure that this manual is clearly read and
comprehended with all warnings and clarifications.
• The customer is responsible for the staff that will use and maintain lights to get information about the
content of this manual.
• Keep the manual in a place that the user can easily reach.
• Do not use lights for purposes except that identified in this manual.
• Keep the maintenance of examination and intervention lights in the periods that are indicated in the 7th
section of this manual named “Cleaining and Maintenance”.
• Examination and intervention lights must be defined as “Contaminate Medical Waste” after its life cycle is
ended.
ÜZÜMCÜ R&D department keeps the rights of changing the technical specifications of the device and/or
canceling the information in this manual.

Examination and intervention lights are dispatched after packed into a closed case and all part is separated.
After receiving the device;
Open the package from suitable sides.
Remove the nylon cover carefully.
Carefully examine product and assembly parts in case it is damaged during the transportation. If so, please
contact with the related seller.
Store product by putting one case on the top of another.
ATTENTION
Do not use cutting tools while removing the nylon cover. Otherwise you may damage the painted
surface of the unit.

Do not carry examination and intervention lights by holding it from the parts marked with number 1.

5. INFORMATION
5.1. PURPOSE of USE and AREAS of USAGE

ÜZÜMCÜ branded Examination and intervention lights are designed specially to use in medical interventions
and examinations. Product design is proper for various medical interventions with powerful illumination
capacity and different joints options.
Examination and intervention lights surfaces have smooth and clear-cut design for cleaning and disinfecting.
The light is designed in accordance with hygienic needs of operating environment.

6. INSTALLATION and USAGE of the PRODUCT
6.1. INSTALLATION
To prepare usage of Intervention and Examination Lights that are dispatched after mounted, it is enough to plug
the electric cable in grounded socket and position the power switch to “1” after carrying it in its place.
Follow the process below to install Intervention and Examination Lights that are dispatched with demounted
parts.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
7.1. CLEANING the SURFACES of the INTERVENTION and EXAMINATION LIGHTS

Cleaning of Intervention and Examination Lights is performed as it explains below.
7.1.1. STERILIZATION of REFLECTOR COVER GLASS
The cover glass of the reflector must be cleaned and sterilized before the operation. The cover glass must be
wiped with a cloth which is wet with a solution containing formaldehyde or similar sterile material.
7.1.2. LAMP HEAD and OTHER COMPONENTS
Lamp head and other components must be cleaned and sterilized periodically. These components must be
wiped with a cloth which is wet with a solution containing formaldehyde or similar sterile material.
• Be careful during the cleaning process of the ceiling type operating light not to damage the ceiling
connection cover and other components or not to cause water leakage between them.
• While cleaning stand and fixed carrier of the mobile type lights, be careful not to cause water leakage
into the ÜZÜMCÜ branded Examination and Intervention Lights of the light which would damage the
device.
ATTENTION
• The main power must be turned off before cleaning or sterilizing the operating light.
RECOMMANDATION for the USAGE:

• Prevent the electric cable from any damage. Before each usage, check the electric cable durability. Do
not use the cables that are damaged.
