I was born on 15th September 1997 in United States of America. My family moved to
America in 2003 and I attended school here from 2003 to 2010. I then went for high school
and graduated in 2014. I am now a graduate with a degree in nursing and currently pursuing
my masters. I love football and hockey balls. I am the 5th born in a family of 6.
I believe that the historical, political, economic, and arts events that have occurred during my
lifetime have affected my life in a number of ways. For example, the 9/11 terrorist attacks in
2001 led to a heightened sense of security in the United States, which had a direct impact on
my childhood and schooling. remember my parents being very scared and worried about what
was happening. We were not allowed to go outside for weeks. This event made me realize
that the world is not always a safe place. The 2008 financial crisis also had a significant
impact on my family, as my parents lost their jobs and we had to move to a less expensive
home. In terms of the arts, I believe that the rise of social media has had a profound impact
on my generation, as we are constantly bombarded with images and messages that can shape
our opinions and worldview. The Great Recession happened when I was in high school. I
remember my family struggled a lot during that time. We had to cut down on our expenses
and my parents were worried about losing their jobs. This event made me realize that life can
3
be unpredictable and we should always be prepared for the worst. The rise of social media
happened when I was in college. I remember being addicted to social media and spending
hours on it every day. I was not very active in my studies and my grades started to suffer.
This event made me realize that social media can be very harmful if not used in moderation.
20/1/2009 The election of Barack Obama was a very momentous event for me because it
showed that anything is possible in America regardless of your skin colour or background in
2017 I lost my childhood friend through road accident. This affected me so much because it
was not easy to heal from the trauma with the fact that I was in her company during her
demise It was also a time of great hope and change in America. I believe that the outside
events have affected my life in a positive way. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have
had, and I believe that they have made me the person I am today.
