If you have ever asked what is spectacular of Obangogo Mountain, if you are an adventurer or love
the aesthetic of nature, then here is an highlight of impressive sites you should see crafted by
nature herself on the mountain of Obangogo . Some of these site have stories you should want to
hear from the tour guide and custodian of the mountain.

1. Hanging Cliff: Perhaps the first spectacular attraction you will notice when approaching
Obangogo is the remarkable hanging cliff of the mountain. The Obangogo worn away by the
weather over the ages, perhaps that may account for the interesting titled shape
(onomatopic) from which it derived its name.

2. NATURAL ROCK CAIRN: Rock cairns are man-made rock stacks, mounds, or piles. They
assume various forms and have been created by cultures all over the world for a variety of
purposes. The Rock cairn found in Obangogo are stunning and formed by nature herself.
They are believed to have been forged thousands of years ago.

3. THE STONE COFFIN: You will love see and hear the story surrounding the stone coffin,
associated with the legendary Babaloko and his bosom friend, named Eleha who hailed
from Ò gidì, in Ijumu. This story is also documented by Owé T'anọ - S.A Ọ̀ kẹ́ .

4. THE INVERTED PYRAMID: The Inverted Like-pyramid Rock is another Spectacular work of
nature you shouldn’t miss taking a snap shot with. The inverted like-pyramid Rock can be
spotted at the edge of the rock firmly shocked by smaller rocks.

5. CAVES: You only need to walk a few miles up the mountain before you start to notice cave
like structures and calves created at the base of bigger rocks on the mountain. The provided
shelters and still provide shelters for farmer, hunters and users of the path.

6. THE HOT AND COLD SPRING WATER: The Spring waters found on Obangogo Mountain is
one of the cleanest sources of water you can find, it is known to run throughout the seasons
of the year without ceasing. It produces both hot and cold water on different path.

7. “AKO” THE CONES WITH THE POOL OF WATER: Atop the Obangogo Mountain is also the
Cone-like engraved saucer which harbors the miracle water called “Omi Ero”. Many jaw-
dropping accounts have been provided attesting to the miracle associated with the pool of
water contained in the Ako. we have about five of them on Obangogo Hill.

8. AKO KEREJEKEREJE: The Ako Kerejekereje depicts the communal lives of Egunbe people in
time past, food were served in what is known as the “Ako kerejekereje” there are 133
numbers of these ako kereje in all

9. TALKING STONE DRUM ARENA: The Talking Stone arena is also an intriguing spot you will
love to experience. It is an entertaining arena known for producing melodious sounds when
beating like a drum.

Please note they are more interesting sites not detailed here. i.e the three Stone Pillars representing
Obaro, Obadofin and Obajemu of Oweland, Okuta Gbelemi, the sloop path and defense wall where
the great archers hid ward off intruders.
