What is Literature?

We can describe the word “literature” for anything that has to do with creative and technical writing. Still,
the term is most commonly used to indicate works of creative imagination, including works of creative
fantasy, poetry, theater, fiction, and journalism.

Creative writing is a piece of writing for entertainment and education. It focuses on imaginative and
symbolic content, and creative papers are published to entertain, provoke, inspire the user. Technical
writing, on the other hand, is not done to amuse its reader. It is used to inform someone.

Importance of Literature in today’s world.

Learning literature in the 21st century is concerned with developing skills and technologies that will enable
our children to thrive in society. It places a greater emphasis on teamwork, critical thinking, adaptability,
courage, and perseverance.

Literature serves many functions and accomplishes everything. It strengthens the writer's opinion,
thoughts, and voice. In most cultures, literature can be used to educate, discover, express, inform, question,
and even heal.
