INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE INDUSTRY


Textile is one of India’s oldest industries and has a formidable presence in the

national economy in as must as it contributes to about 14 per cent of manufacturing value-

addition, accounts for around one-third of gross export earnings and provides gainful

employment to millions of people.

They include cotton and jute growers, artisans and weavers who are engaged in the

organized as well as decentralized and household spread across the entire country. The textile

industry has a unique place in the economy of our country. Its contribution to industrial

production, employment and export earnings are very significant. This industry provides one

of the basic necessities of life. The employment provided by textile industry is very high in

volume.The textile industry is the 3rd largest industry in India. The SIMA (Southern India

Mills Association), which is isolated in Coimbatore, played a healthy role in festering the

development of textile mills in the state and in a great measure.

The government has set up seven national institute of fashion technology centres

providing skilled human resources to the apparel and textile industry. Besides, the

government has equipped certain power loom service centres, weaver’s service centres and

training institutes. The industry can take help from these organizations in meeting their

design requirements.

The spinning capacity is the second largest after china. India has the largest hand

weaving sector and long tradition of producing some of the finest and costliest fabrics in the

world. India is the biggest yarn exporter with a share of 28% of the world market and is

known for the quality of its finest count cotton yarn.


INDIAN TEXTILE INDUSTRY

The Indian textile industry is one of the largest in the world with a massive raw

Material and textiles manufacturing base. Our economy is largely dependent on the textile

Manufacturing and trade in addition to other major industries. About 27% of the foreign

exchange earnings are on account of export of textiles and clothing alone. The textiles and

clothing sector contributes about 14% to the industrial production and 3% to the gross

domestic product of the country.

Around 8% of the total excise revenue collection is contributed by the textile

industry. So much so, the textile industry accounts for as large as 21% of the total

employment generated in the economy. Around 35 million people are directly employed in

the textile manufacturing activities.

TAMILNADU TEXTILE INDUSTRY

The global market has become an overwhelming incentive for new investments and

there has then occurred a veritable explosion of capacity in cotton-based complexes, the most

important being the Tamilnadu clusters. This has been a many sided revolution: Thereafter,

the mushrooming of power looms manufacturing The 1990s have seen phenomenal growth of cotton

spinning in Tamilnadu and, grey cloth.Tamilnadu has been in the forefront in the Indian power loom

industry.

The state ranks third only after Maharashtra and Gujarat as regards the number of

textile manufacturing units in organized and decentralized sector of the textile industry. The

power loom industry in Tamilnadu provides direct and indirect employment to over 7 lake

workers and is reputed for its power loom weaving.


INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE COMPANY

MC SPINNERS LIMITED has been incorporated as a private limited company

under companies Act 1956.The managing director of a company is controlling the

entries activities of the company. At present, there are 150 workers are working in this

company. The employees are capable enough to produce. Quality product the workers

are on a 150 workers permanent.

The salient feature of the company is

1) proper layout

2) Attractive infrastructure

3) Good atmosphere and

4) Good working conditions etc.,

YEAR OF ESATABLISHMENT

The company started its commercial production in the year 2006.

CAPITAL STRUCTURE

The total investment of this plant at monopodial is 15 corers of the plant cover

about 11.5 acres. There are 150 Labors and 10 staffs working in the concern.

MANAGEMENT

The company is changed by managing director. The management maintains

harmonious relationship between workers and top level management. The promoter of the

company Mr. Thangamuthu.


COMPANY OBJECTIVE

➢ To improve and follows the process to have a continuous up gradation of the quality

of processing, dyeing and printing.

➢ To improve the productivity without interruptions by adopting prevention of

maintenance of the plant to machinery.

➢ To achieve the goals by encouraging employees for their efforts.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

The company follows the environmental policy for the process of Getting ISO 14001

certificate they are,

❖ Strive to use eco-friendly inputs and process and ensure the elimination of

agricultural land contamination of surrounding area.

❖ Continuously strive to reduce the quantity of effluent in order to minimize and

prevent environment.

❖ Continuously follow systems and procedures to improve the environment and

to reduce the pollution.

❖ Continuously strive with environments legislations.

❖ Regulation and requirements to which the company subscribes.

❖ Review continuously the policies and objectives in order to convert them into

practice.

❖ Make our environmental policy available to public and to all persons working

for on behalf of the company.


SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The study help to create awareness about stress and its problem.

The special focus is on employees.

OBJECTIVIES

➢ To asses current stress level of employee.

➢ To identify situation that cause stress.

➢ To be more knowledgeable on the techniques/methods of lower stress.

➢ To apply various stress reduction technique alleviate stress.

➢ To identify emotional, physical and mental effect of stress.


ACTIVITY REPORT

19/09/2022 During the first day of my internship i analysis about


machineries & employees.

production. I learn about their departments and the department
works.

CONCLUSION

Stress of an employee in the organization is the serious threat in present days.

Employees in the organization get stress because of several reasons like working condition,

family condition, financial state etc. In the case of precut meridian employees get stress when

they are committed to achieve their work target.
