What is Pink Ointment?

Pink Ointment is a topical antibiotic for the treatment of superficial teat wounds, infections and black spot in dairy cows.

Benefits:

The antibiotic components of Pink Ointment reduce the bacterial infection and the emollient softens and helps enable
granulation and repair of the damaged tissue.

Indications:

Teat health is very important!

As healthy teats are easier to keep clean, minimizes preparation before milking and reduces the risk of new infections
occurring. Cracks and teat sores are painful and can lead to poor cow behaviour during milking. Teat soreness can also
reduce milk let down.

Pink Ointment is just one great tool to utilise in improving teat health, and to be used in combination with a detailed
discussion on primary causes of teat end lesions and correct investigation into preventing the occurrence with your vet.

Dosage and use:

Smear over affected area after each milking until lesion has dried up. Recommended to use on teat lesions for a week and
re-assess.

• 150gm tube
• NIL withholding, it is recommended to wipe teats before milking
