Useful tip 2: How to organize your presentation better
• Organize your slides from the viewpoint of audiences.
• Include details that are necessary, exclude those that are not
important.
• Try to make a raw outline before you start to make your slides.
• Check your slides after you finished your slides. Does the
whole story make sense?
Sometimes it would be better if you switch the order.

• Prepare PowerPoint Slides – Organize your figure and data
into understandable way. (Typically, just like what you need to
do for group meeting!)
• Prepare necessary raw data or papers you used in the
slides – Sometimes teacher may need raw data or original
source from paper in discussions.
• Remember the time and place that you are going to meet
with teacher – Check your email more frequently to make sure
the right time and place.

How to search papers outside the campus?
• Typically, you can get access to the papers online only with a
School’s IP (Schools paid for the Copyright of papers)
• When you are outside the campus, you can use VPN to get a
school’s IP for your computer
