    It is informed with deep regret that Thiru C KATHIRAVAN, IAS (TN:2009)


    (DOB: 03.06.1970) Project Director, Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project II, Chennai passed
    away today (17.02.2023) at around 10.00 am in a Private Hospital in Chennai due to
    Cardiac Arrest. It is learnt that the final rights of the deceased officer will be at his native
    place Gandhipuram, Senthamangalam, Namakkal District.

    The deceased officer was initially appointed as an Agriculture Officer through


    TNPSC on 12.09.1996 and entered into Tamil Nadu State Civil Services as Probationary
    Deputy Collector, in Dharmapuri District on 25.01.2002 and held various posts including
    Revenue Divisional Officer Kallakurichi, Aranthangi and Viluppuram; Personal Assistant
    (General) to Collector, Viluppuram; District Revenue Officer, Viluppuram and
    Tiruvannamalai. The deceased officer has got conformant in the Indian Administrative
    Service on 27.12.2013 and held various posts including General Manager, Aavin, Salem;
    Commissioner Corporation of Madurai; Collector, Krishnagiri and Erode; Managing Director,
    TANMAG, Salem and now the Project Director, Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project II,
    Chennai.
    The deceased officer is survived by his wife Tmt K. Thenmozhi and
    two daughters.
