Currently, there is a worldwide trend toward tightening regulations on PFAS. In particular, the State of
California in the United States will ban the intentional addition of PFAS or their inclusion above threshold
levels*1 for Juvenile product*2 as of July 1, 2023, and for Textile articles and Apparel*3 as of January 1, 2025.
YKK is working to comply with these regulations, and we will check the status of PFAS content in the
products delivered from your company. YKK is in the process of complying with these regulations and would
like to know the status of PFAS content in the products delivered from your company. Therefore, we would
like to request your cooperation in the following survey regarding the use and content of PFAS in the products
delivered to YKK.
