Introduction

Learning styles are overall patterns that provide direction to

learning/teaching and can also be described as a set of factors,

behaviors, and attitudes that facilitate learning for an individual

in a given situation. There are 10 types of learning styles; visual,

kinesthetic, auditory, stress, ease, scribble, trust, teach, copy,

and mindful.

Rationale

Significance of the study

This study will help learners to be aware of their learning styles. Help

students determine the effectiveness of their learning styles.

Population and Samples

The population of this study is 33 with a sample of 15 learners. We will

choose 15 learners from 11 STEM (Science Technology Engineering and

Mathematics) in KNHS (Kalilangan National High School) we will choose

randomly since we will use random sampling method.


Statement of the problem

This study aims to determine the effects of learning styles towards the

academic performance of grade 11 STEM (Science Technology Engineering

and Mathematics) learners in KNHS (Kalilangan National High School).

Specifically, it will try to find answers to the following questions:

1. What are the learning styles of Grade 11 STEM learners?

2. What are the average grade of the students who affected by their learning

styles?

3. What are the type of learning style that benefits their academic

performance?

Hypotheses Tested: The following were tested at- level of significance. Our

group wants to know if there is a significant- between the-and-.
