NAME OF THE AGENCY: MOONSHINE ALCO CARE FOUNDATION

SYNOPSIS

INTRODUCTION:

Moonshine De-addiction Cum Rehabilitation Centre, a Non-Profit organization, was

founded in the year 2012, by Founder and Managing Trustee Mr. Sathyaseelan, who has
initiated several social awareness programs in the areas of De-addiction and Community health
programs. He has received several citations and awards from the state for contributions towards
social awareness in this area.

The main objective of starting Moonshine De-Addiction Centre is to help persons affected by
the disease of Alcoholism, Addiction and Co-related disorders is to help these individuals who
suffer from this painful and traumatic disease to recover, which would help them and them to
achieve a better quality of life, allowing them to live as productive individuals.

The Board of Moonshine De-addiction Cum Rehabilitation was setup with the primary goal to
help people suffering from substance abuse and related disorders to recover irrespective of their
age, caste, creed, education, status or financial background.

Moonshine De-addiction Cum Rehabilitation centre is located in a very serene, tranquil and
pollution free environment at V.P. Sithan Street, Indira Nagar, Thirumani Village, Chengelpet
and is easily accessible by road and rail with a capacity to treat 30+ Inpatients.

The Centre is Licensed by the Institute of Mental Health, and strictly adheres to the standards
set for the Quality of care of the patients.
1.OBSERVATION REPORT

The researcher has planned to go to the foundation with the help of the agency supervisor
and meet the subjects for the case studies and understand their problems by effectively
communicating with them.

The researcher has planned to take three case studies from the “Moonshine alco care
foundation.” The case studies will be based on:

3. GROUP WORK REPORT

The researcher has planned to select two groups for group work from the “moonshine alco
care foundation.”
