1 For your safety

1.1 Intended use

The Microscope serves as imaging system for dental and/or ENT application
only

1.2 Marking oft he safety instructions in this manual

Warning!

This is a warning that indicates risk situations and dangers.


Failure to follow this warning may lead to live threatening
situations. These warnings must be strictly observed!

This information indicates certain characteristics to be observed .

1.3 Safety instructions

Each handling and operation requires an exact knowledge and attention of


this manual. Use device for intended use only!

All service and repair works have to be accomplished by


authorized personnel only

1.4 Liability for damage and function

The liability for the proper function of the device is irrevocably transferred to
the owner / operator that the device has been serviced or repaired by
personnel not employed or authorized by CJ.

The equipment must be maintained in accordance with these operating


instructions. For damages which are caused by failure to comply CJ is not
liable.

Warranty and liability provisions of the terms and conditions of CJ are not
extended by the recommendations given above.

Liability of the product is void for changes of the device by not


authorized personnel and the installation of alien parts. Only use
original spare parts

1.5 Authorized operators

The owner of the device has to take care that the manual is available for all
operators. Furthermore he has to insure that all operators has read and
understood the manual

2 Maintenance and care

2.1 Maintenance

In order to have a smooth operation, the unit should be cleaned periodically.

There is no need for other care or any chemical additives. Only use
microfiber cloth, soft towels and disinfectants. Don’t use water in any case!

Take care that any optical components are cleaned with microfiber cloths
only.

In case of heavy dirt inside the device (which can happen in incorrect
operation only) do not clean it by yourself. Heavy dirt has to be cleaned by
authorized personnel only-

The identification plate always has to be legible and don’t has to


be removed. While cleaning the device pull the power cord of the
whole device and take care that no dirt can get into the device

2.2 Care

Clean the external impurities with a damp, soft cloth and disinfect it
periodically

Chemical additives can cause damages to the painting, caption


or even the optical or electrical components

3 Use / application area

The Microscope serves enlarged.view and documentation.for dental and/or


ENT applications. It is for this purpose only
During the treatment no assembling, cleaning, maintenance or
modification is allowed

Damages caused by incorrect operation cannot be asserted to


CJ

4 Before starting

4.1 Unpacking and transport of the device

- Open Transport box, remove packaging material, remove the device


and accessories
- Check accessories
- Place the appliance on a sturdy, level surface
- In case of shipping pay attention to packaging to avoid unnecessary
damage
Read manual attentive

It is important to recognize any transport damage when


unpacking.

4.2 Scope of delivery

4.3 Installation and storage

The storage location also is important for short-term storage. The room
should be dry, ventilated and free from vibration. Constant temperature and
wood backing will be beneficial.

Device shouldn’t be stored outside

5 Assembling

5.1 Assembling mobile stand

Power cord should not connect during asambling

Ist recommended to wear gloves during handling! During


assembling there is a risk of skin bruise

Remove cover Disassemble balance weight

Remove balance weights and pull Disassemble screws

Pull pillar out of the carton Assemble pillar to the moving base

5.2 Assembling suspension arm

Take out bearings Place slide disk

Place guide bearing Pull out suspension arm carefully

Attach monitor arm Save with allen screw

Unpack Ipad mount Fit the monitor/Ipad mount into the


monitor arm and lock it

weight of the monitor

6 Commissioning

Before device commissioning the microscope needs to temper by room


temperature

sore the microcope in a dry room at room temperature for 24


hours

7 Service

Service oder repairs on the microscope must be accomplished by trained


staff only. Use original spare parts only

8 Guarantee

Our warranty period is 12 months. Contact your dealer if there is a defect


within the warranty period.

The microscope may be operated in perfect condition only. Occurring


defects, employees or third parties could be threatened by that, the device
only can be used again after the overhaul

Damages, which are due to incorrect use, as well as by external mechanical


impact, damages caused by incorrect transportation and unauthorised
modification on the device, are not covered by this warranty.
