    Tourism figures for Austria in August 2019 saw a 4.3% increase in both non-resident and resident arrivals and a 1.6% increase in nights spent, resulting in a 2.7% growth in tourism turnover compared to the same period last year. For the January to August period, arrivals increased by 3.2% for non-residents and 1.7% for residents, nights grew by 1.3%, and turnover was up 1.2%.
