ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Identification, planning and close follow-up the reservoir surveillance plans for Shuaiba and Nahr
Umr reservoirs (160+ producers and injectors)
2. Identification and execution follow-up of reservoir management activities to maximize
production, voidage replacement, and reduce the production decline rates
3. Perform simulation and special studies related to well performance improvement initiatives
4. Opportunities identification and maturation to FID (RD Workovers, Tubing Change-outs,
Integrity WO, Stimulation...) for production and injection improvements in collaboration with Field
Operations, Drilling & Wells, and New Well Delivery
5. Timely generation of monthly unconstrained profiles for short term production forecast (Rolling
Forecast)
6. Perform new wells and work-overs post-mortem synthesis in collaboration with New Well
Delivery, and Reservoir Development & Growth teams
7. Propose innovative solutions to improve the voidage replacement and increase wells potential
8. Perform detailed Wells & Well Patterns reviews, and identify remedial actions
9. Support the Integrated Reservoir Management team within RMO unit on the cross reservoirs’
activities and studies
10. Support FO/PWP for day-to-day and short-term production / injection optimization
11. Perform simulation and models history match and share learnings with Development and
Growth teams
12. Support Profiles and Reserves team by providing data for Integrated Asset Modelling
13. Support IRM team for NFA unconstrained profiles aggregation and analysis
14. Support team lead in budget definition and follow-up throughout the year
15. Provide support and coaching to reservoir engineers in the team.

ACTIVITIES

- Perform detailed wells performance analysis and post mortem synthesis


- Perform subsurface studies to improve production and injection (slugging, NFA decline analysis,
stabilization analysis, GL optimization, ..etc)
- Perform simulation studies to define optimum injection (water and WAG), short term forecasting,
and voidage replacement improvement
- Define internal and external studies scope, timing, budget and report progress to team lead
- Identify and prioritize reservoir surveillance plans, and ensure close follow-up
- Ensure opportunities identification, ranking and maturation (Workovers, Stimulation, ..etc) until
FID for Deep Redrills, workovers and other opportunities
- Lead light workovers (tubing change-out) until final SOR
- Maintain and close follow-up of opportunities hopper
- Follow-up with service providers external studies (subsurface, PVT, SCAL, modelling, ..etc)
- Generate the yearly reservoir management plans (RMP) and ensure their execution
- Consolidate and present the reservoir quarterly Reservoir Management reviews to SH’s
- Perform decline curve analysis and generate the monthly unconstrained profiles for the rolling
forecast
- Lead and timely undertake new wells / workovers / stimulation post-mortem synthesis (in
coordination with New Well Delivery and Growth entities)
- Define completion strategies for future wells supported by simulation studies
- Support the New Well Delivery team all along the WO’s SOR process
- Contribute to the yearly reserves exercise
- Support the team lead in identifying training needs for team members and recruitment interviews
- Coach and mentor junior team members and Qatari young professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 15+ years of experience within a subsurface organization


- Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree, and preferably Master’s degree (in a Geoscience /
RE / PE subject)
- In-depth understanding of Reservoir Management and surveillance processes
- Proven track record of maximising value in complex carbonate fields
- Reservoir and geoscience working experience in an operated asset
- Strong experience on reservoir dynamic modeling (Eclipse/IX) and model history matching
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail oriented with bias to action
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multidisciplinary teams and entities
- Ability to influence business decision making
- Strong networking skills externally and internally
