1 General Operation

No Notification When Positioner Hardware Is in Motion [32676]

[DRX-Ascend, Q-Vision] There is no notification to the operator when the Bucky/

positioner hardware is in motion, except during auto-tracking.

CAUTION:
Because the console does not notify the user in this situation about equipment in motion, make
sure to use caution whenever you move hardware components.

Tube Head Display Time Is Out of Sync With Console [8286]

[DRX-Ascend] When the time on the operator console is changed, the time displayed
on the tube head display does not synchronize with the new time. To synchronize the
time on both displays, restart the system.

System Remains in “Prepared” State During Acquisition with

LLI Views [8493]
[DRX-Ascend] When a study contains LLI and GenRad views, the system status might
remain at Prepared when trying to acquire an image. To resolve this, create another
view. The system status should then proceed to Ready and allow an exposure.

Not All Studies for a Patient Appear on Acquisition Screen [6891]

[DRX-Mobile Retrofit] If you select a study from the Worklist for a patient that has
multiple studies, only the selected study appears on the Acquisition screen. The
Acquisition screen should show all studies for the patient.

Important:
After imaging for a study, operators should go back to the Worklist screen to make sure that
there are no additional studies for the patient.

‘Remote Session Timed Out’ Message Seen on Local Login [8555]

[DRX-Ascend, Q-Rad] If a remote Key Operator session times out while a local Key
Operator is logged out of the system, the local Key Operator might receive a message
that the remote session has timed out when they log in again.
If this occurs, click Start New Session to continue logging in as normal.

General Operation

No Notification When Patient Date of Birth Is Changed [7810]

If a patient's date of birth is changed on the RIS, there is no notification on the system
console for the operator.

Important:
Because of this issue, make sure that you confirm the patient's birth date before you begin
imaging the patient.

IBA DAP Loses Communication with Hard Shutdown

[DR-FIT/DRX-Compass] If the system console is powered Off by pressing and holding the
physical power button instead of selecting Shut Down in the software, the IBA DAP
can lose communication. This is because the generator provides power to the DAP and
remains powered On after a hard shutdown.
If DAP communication is not restored after powering On the system, restart the system
by selecting Shut Down or Sign Out > Restart from the System menu.

System Status Is “Ready” but Cannot Make an Exposure [8794]

[DRX-Revolution Nano] If you press and release the hand switch very quickly, the
system might continue to display its status as Ready but not let you make an exposure.
If this occurs, switch to another view and then return to the view where you want to
make the exposure. Then, make sure to press the hand switch steadily.

Slow Performance after Adding Detector in AP Mode [26664]

[DRX-Transportable] After adding a detector in AP mode on systems that use the i500
tablet, there is noticeably poor performance for several minutes that causes errors to
appear. Functionality is not affected. Performance then returns to normal.

Dose Shown for Stitched Long-length Image [27306]

When performing a manual LLI exam on a system equipped for automatic LLI, the
system displays 0 for a dose value on the composite (stitched) image. Dose values
should only be shown for the component images.

Collimator Opens to Full Regardless of the Preset Collimation

that is Configured [539196]
When the first view in a study has an autoposition with an angulated OTC, the second
view will always apply full size collimation, regardless of the preset collimation. In this
scenario, the user should manually select the collimation size from the console or adjust
the collimator knobs. The user can also autocenter first and then select the view on the
acquisition screen, this will ensure that the correct preset collimation is selected.

General Operation

Unable to Retrieve Orphan Image [549209]

When an image is acquired on a detector and not retrieved at the console this is known
as an orphan image. All orphan images must be retrieved at the console where the
acquisition occurred. If the detector is disabled from the console where the acquisition
of an orphan image occurred and enabled on a new console, the orphan image will not
be retrievable.

System Stuck in Acquiring when Dark Calibration Cancelled

[538150]

When a system is set up to perform automatic dark calibrations and the user cancels an
in progress dark calibration from the acquisition screen, an internal error may appear
stating that the system is stuck in the acquiring state. If this occurs, a reboot of the
system is recommended.

2 Informational

This section provides information about features that function as designed but that
might not match operator expectations.

Detector Must Be Registered to Display Techniques

At least one detector must be added to the system and enabled for the system to
display techniques on the Review Techniques screen.

DRX-1 Dark Calibration Actuation Count

The statistics for a Dark Calibration performed on a DRX-1 detector show five
actuations for each actuation actually taken. This is how the system counts actuations
for this detector.
