Role of teacher in my life

My dear teacher,

You give me wisdom

And shape up my future

When I came to the school

I was very small and tender

I was like a plain sheet of paper

You instilled in me confidence and valour

You gave the warmth and love like a mother

When I faced a challenge

You taught me how to cope

Each day I grew in confidence

Ability and hope

Every day you are sowing a seed

To know and to grow and succeed

You gave me duties

And made me strong

I even got a scolding when I did something wrong

All these years you never ever rest

Your guidance and hard work

Made us the best

You work hard day and night

And make me very bright
