Supply teacher for toddler, preschool and kindergarten classrooms, teaching the students practical
skills and led circle time where they learned a variety of topics such as calendar, weather and
seasons. I have also led and taught the kindergarten students math and language concepts using
Montessori tools.

York Child Development and Family Services Inc. – RECE September 2015 – June 2016
Led a classroom with 15 senior school age students (grades 4-7) where I developed and implemented
hands-on learning experiences in the before and after school program including arts & crafts,
construction, language, math and science
One student diagnosed with cerebral palsy had a one-on-one support staff. I worked closely with this
staff member to ensure she was included in the learning experiences I planned.

Developed and taught a unit on “Forces and Movement” where the students experimented with friction
using cars and ramps with different surfaces
Assisted my mentor teacher in an after-school mathematic class to help grade three students prepare
for their upcoming EQAO evaluation
Demonstrated strong teamwork skills by working with another student teacher to organize an event for
the whole school with Jumpstart, where each class came outside and completed jump rope exercises
