York Child Development and Family Services Inc. – RECE September 2015 – June 2016
 Led a classroom with 15 senior school age students (grades 4-7) where I developed and implemented
hands-on learning experiences in the before and after school program including arts & crafts,
construction, language, math and science
 One student diagnosed with cerebral palsy had a one-on-one support staff. I worked closely with this
staff member to ensure she was included in the learning experiences I planned.

 Developed and taught a unit on “Forces and Movement” where the students experimented with friction

for their upcoming EQAO evaluation 
 Demonstrated strong teamwork skills by working with another student teacher to organize an event for
the whole school with Jumpstart, where each class came outside and completed jump rope exercises
