Dr. M .V. V. S. Murthi, visionary, industrialist,

GITAM introduced GITAM School of Technology

and Training in the fields of Technology and
Management for the youngsters and to prepare them for
availing better opportunities in Silicon Valley of India.

The Mechanical Engineering Department is a recognized
Research Centre. It has well-equipped laboratories, and
eminent members of faculty carrying out teaching and
research activities. The department aims at fostering
