Ans: The candidate who has been allotted seat on 03.02.2021 i.e during Round-I
State Counseling shall report to their provisionally allotted college upto
10.02.2022(last date of joining).
Ans: The candidate can pay his/her six months tuition fee through online payment
gateway only. The icon “Pay fee” is available besides the icon “Allotment
Letter”.
Ques: Whether tuition fee can be paid through Demand Draft or Cheque?
Ans: Mere paying the requisite amount of fee does not confer his/her right to the
provisional allotment. Thus, it is mandatory to report to the concerned college.
Therefore, the candidate who is interested to join the college shall only pay
the tuition fee and report to the concerned provisionally allocated college.
Ques: Whether the candidate can claim his/her right to the concerned allotted
seat if he/she does not join or surrenders the concerned allotted seat
withing stipulated date and time of reporting/joining?
Ans: The candidate who will not report/join the provisionally allotted college within
stipulated date and time, he/she cannot claim his/her right for the particular
allotted seat and resultantly the vacant seat will be added in the vacancy
position for next Round.
Ques: Can the candidate surrender his/her allotted seat and get the refund of
tuition fee?
Ans: The candidate after joining his/her seat can surrender the seat before the
starting of next round of counseling. The candidate has to surrender his/her
seat in written and submit it to Principal of concerned college. There is a

provision of free exit if the seat is surrendered after Round-I, otherwise
the following penalty shall be imposed on account of blocking of seat
after Round-II as mentioned in the Notification MCI-34(41)/2018-Med./109835
dated 18.05.2018 issued by the Medical Council Committee available in the
NEET UG-2021 prospectus:

Ques: Whether the candidate who has joined the allotted college of Round-I
can upgrade his/her seat during Round-II?
Ans: The candidate who is interested to upgrade his/her seat during Round-II can
participate in the Round-II and also, he has to submit his fresh
choices/preference of Course/College/Quota/Category. By virtue of merit and
choice filling, if any seat is allotted during Round-II, it will be treated as final
allotment/upgradation and the seat of Round-I will be automatically vacated.
Therefore, the candidate cannot claim his/her right on the previous allocated
seat of Round-I.
Ques: Whether the tuition fee can be adjusted if the seat is upgraded in the
Round-II Counseling?
Ans: Yes, the tuition fee will be adjusted and the candidate has to pay the partial
amount of tuition fee if required or the excess amount of fee paid will be
refunded within a month after the completion of process of admission under
NEET UG-2021.
Ques: Whether the candidate has to register again for Round-II State
Counselling?
Ans: The candidate who has already been registered and paid the registration fee
need not to register again for Round-II Counseling.

Ans: The candidate who has joined/not joined/surrendered the Round-I allotted
seat can participate in Round-II State Counseling. To participate in Round-II
the candidate has to submit willingness and deposit the refundable security
amount. Thereafter the candidate has to exercise the fresh
choices/preferences of Course/College/Quota/Category for Government
Medical/Dental Colleges only or both in Government and Private
Medical/Dental Colleges in the State of Punjab as per their willingness.
