GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

 Candidates who are participating the online choice filling for MBBS/BDS
Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of
Rs.500/- for Government Quota and Rs.1000/- for Management Quota.

 At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay Refundable

Security Deposit for Government Quota:

For Government Medical Colleges – Nil

For Government Dental Colleges – Nil
For Government Quota seats in
Govt. Quota seats in Self-Financing
Medical / Dental College & State Private University – Rs.30, 000/-

 SC/SCA/ST candidates are Exempted from Security deposit if

annual Income is less than 2.5 Lakhs
 Converts to Christianity from Scheduled Caste candidates are
Exempted from Security deposit if annual Income is less than
2.0 Lakhs.”

 At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay Refundable

Security Deposit for Management Quota:

Management Quota including Minority / NRI Category seats in Self-

Financing Medical / Dental College & State Private Universities

 All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting

choice filling.

 Candidates should be careful while choice filling.

 Choice Filling: Candidates will have the option of choice filling for all the
seats for which they have applied to. For example, if a candidate has
applied for both Government and management quota he will have choices
for both Government as well as Management quota. The candidates are
encouraged to analyse all the choices available and fill their choices in
order of their preference.

  Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking,
But once locked they will not be allowed to edit. Hence candidates are
requested to check their choices and the order of preference before
locking.

 If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date
(03-08-2023 5 PM) their choices will be automatically locked.

 Seat Matrix for the Course will be available on the official websites.

 Selection committee does not take responsibility of Connectivity error and

Procedural error.

 Admission to MBBS/BDS Degrees courses shall be made by the ONLINE

COUNSELLING on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.

 Category Opt –out:

As the Round 2 counselling is a Re-allotment round candidates will not

be allowed for categories which they have opted out as mentioned in the
prospectus Clause 17 II (d). For Example, if a candidate has not opted for
any of the Self Financing MBBS (Category B) in Round 1 he will not be
allowed for that category in Round 2.

 Request for change of course (MBBS/BDS) or College, from one to
another is not permitted after final locking.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ALLOTMENT ORDER:

 The Selected candidate (for MBBS seats in all colleges under all
categories and BDS seats in Government Dental Colleges) has to pay the
Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order through
online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking.

 The Selected candidate (BDS seats in Self Financing Dental Colleges) has
to pay the Tuition Fee at the time of admission to the colleges directly as
per G.O(D) No.868 Health and Family Welfare (MCA-1) Department
dated.18.07.2023 as detailed in the Notification No.010/SCS1(1)/2023
dated 19.07.2023.

 Fee structure is available in the official website www.tnhealth,tn.gov.in

and www.tnmedicalselection.org

 All candidates should make sure, sufficient fund is available at their

bank account with expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition
Fee.

 The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment

order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on
or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional
Allotment Order.

REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGE:

 The Certificate Verification will be done in the selected colleges itself.

 The candidates should produce their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES in person

at the time of joining in their selected Colleges along with the scanned
copy of original certificates for verification.

 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are
allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and / or
admission will be cancelled without any further notice.

 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form
at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable
for forfeiture of selection / admission if suppression of facts, mis-
interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the
course.

 Candidates are advised to be in touch with our official websites

(www.tnmedicalselection.org / www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in) for Schedule /
latest updates / Results / Notices / News & Events pertaining to
counselling as Selection Committee will not be individually contacting the
candidates for the same.

 No communication will be directly sent to the Candidates(s). They are

advised to be in touch with the website on regular basis for any updates.
