ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES:

 The Candidates who are not holding any MBBS/BDS seats in All India
Quota and State Quota are only eligible to participate in this online
counselling.

NOT ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

 The candidates who have already joined any MBBS/BDS seats in All
India Quota and State Quota (Either Govt. Quota/Management
Quota/NRI Quota/NRI Lapsed Quota) are not eligible to participate in
this round of counselling.
 The candidates who did not join their seats allotted through All India /
State Counselling Round-3 onwards are “Not Eligible” to participate in
this counselling.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

 Candidates who are participating the online choice filling for MBBS/BDS
Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of
Rs.500/- for Government Quota and Rs.1000/- for Management Quota.

 At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay Refundable

Security Deposit for Government Quota:

For Government Medical Colleges – Nil

For Government Dental Colleges – Nil
For Government Quota seats in
Govt. Quota seats in Self-Financing
Medical / Dental College & State Private University – Rs.30, 000/-

 SC/SCA/ST candidates are Exempted from Security deposit if

annual Income is less than 2.5 Lakhs
 Converts to Christianity from Scheduled Caste candidates are
Exempted from Security deposit if annual Income is less than
2.5 Lakhs.

 At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay Refundable

Security Deposit for Management Quota:

 Management seats in Self-Financing Medical / Dental Colleges -
Rs.1,00, 000/-

 The candidates who have participated and paid their Registration Fee &
Security Deposit, but not allotted any seats in previous rounds (i.e., R1/
R2/ MOP_UP/STRAY) need not pay again.

 Joined candidates of All India Quota & State Quota counseling (i.e., R1/
R2/MOP_UP/STRAY) will not be eligible to participate in this round of
online counselling.

 All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting

choice filling.

 Candidates should be careful while choice filling.

 Choice Filling: Candidates will have the option of choice filling for the
categories for which they have applied. For example, if a candidate has
applied for both Government and management quota he will have choices
for both Government as well as Management quota. The candidates are
encouraged to analyse the choices available and fill their choices in order
of their preference.

 Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking,
but once locked they will not be allowed to edit.

 If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date
(09/11/2023 03.00 PM) their choices will be automatically locked.

 Seat Matrix for the Course will be available on the official websites.

 Selection committee does not take responsibility for any Connectivity

error and Procedural error.

 Admission to MBBS/ BDS Degrees courses shall be made by the ONLINE

COUNSELLING on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALLOTTED CANDIDATES:

 If a candidate is allotted in Special Stray Vacancy round, he/she will

have to join the allotted college.

 Considering the time-constraints in this Round, downloading of
allotment order by the candidate itself is considered as joining as
per the prospectus and the candidate has to report to the
institution within the reporting time.

 Failure to report will be considered as discontinuation and the

candidate should pay the Discontinuation fee as per Clause 23 of
Government Quota Prospectus/ Clause 20 of Management Quota
Prospectus if he/she fails to report before the stipulated time.

 The allotted candidate for MBBS seats in all colleges under all categories
has to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment
order through online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking.

 The Selected candidates (MBBS seats) belonging to SC/SCA/ST/ SCC

who have been allotted seat in Govt. Quota and Management Quota in
self-financing Medical colleges are exempted from paying tuition fee for
downloading the allotment order if annual income of Parents/ Guardian
is less than 2.5 Lakhs.

 The Selected candidate (BDS seats in Self Financing Dental Colleges) has
to pay the Tuition Fee at the time of admission to the colleges directly as
per G.O(D) No.868 Health and Family Welfare(MCA-1) Department
dated.18.07.2023 as detailed in the Notification No.010/SCS1(1)/2023
dated 19.07.2023.

 Fee structure is available in the official website www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in

 All candidates should make sure, sufficient fund is available at their

bank account with expanded credit/Transaction limit while remitting
their Tuition Fee.

 The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment

order and join the course in the concerned Medical /Dental College on or
before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional
Allotment Order.

REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGE:

 The Certificate Verification will be done in the selected colleges itself.

 The candidates should produce their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES in person
at the time of joining in their selected Colleges along with the scanned
copy of original certificates for verification.

 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are
allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and / or
admission will be cancelled without any further notice.

 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form

at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable
for forfeiture of selection / admission if suppression of facts, mis-
interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the
course.

 Candidates are advised to be in touch with our official websites

(www.tnmedicalselection.org / www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in) for Schedule /
latest updates / Results / Notices / News & Events pertaining to
counseling as Selection Committee will not be individually contacting the
candidates for the same.

 No communication will be directly sent to the Candidates. They are

advised to be in touch with the website on regular basis for any updates.
