The opening leaves one with nostalgic drooling, because for some reasons, all I

perceive is an absolutely delicious homemade cherry jam. It brings back

memories when as child I would down a glass of ice water after spooning
straight from the jam jar.

After a while I start to feel the cognac in the oak barrel. I can almost see the
gentle Saint-Bernard with the bottle of gin around his neck! :)

For the next few hours, after the cask is empty, Angel's Share takes us through
all the sweets varieties. It seems to me that it has a chewing gum vibe too, it
comes dangerously close to the candy floss area, but for all its infinite
sweetness, the perfume manages to retain a finesse that I rarely perceive in other
gourmand perfumes.
