METAL FABRICATOR
COURSE
OVERVIEW
This short training course provides systematic refresher training in order
to pass the “Contractor Workforce Assessment Test” as provided in the
NITI premises. In close relation to the test requirements, the course
deals with the essential background on knowledge of metals fabricator
being identified on “must know-level”. This short training course cannot
provide foundations.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
The training provides a very quick review on a number of technical
subjects, which could be part of the Contractor Assessment test.

• Health and safety at the workplace.

• Identification of hazards and precaution measures.

• Lockout-Tagout procedures.

• Piping systems and Pipe Fitting symbols.

• Identify Valves and related equipments.

• Pipe threading and Pipe Spool fabrication.

• Welded Pipe Spool fabrications.

• Pipe and Structural fabrications.

• Hydro-testing procedures.

• Oxy-acetylene equipment and its operating principles.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This short training course is addressed to experienced “metals fabricator” who
intend to participate in the “Contractor Workforce Assessment Test” or are in need
of a refresher course before participating in the respective test. The course is not
suitable to qualify newcomers and inexperienced persons in the metal’s fabrication
discipline due to the limited time and the more theoretical nature of the contents.
Participants should possess the required technical knowledge already.

ABDALLAH MUSLEH
Mechanical & Pipefitting Trainer

Abdallah Musleh is a Mechanical Certified Trainer and Assessor; he has BS degree


in General Mechanical Engineering from UNIVERSITY OF JORDAN, Diploma
Mechanical Design from AL BALQA` APPLIED UNIVERSITY. He also Assessor Level 3
from C&G, PMP, Internal Auditing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, Oil and Gas Safety
Management, TOT workshop in Occupational safety and Health, Rigger III and
Banksman, The Operations Management Training Program and TOT TUV Riahnland.

Abdallah Musleh is a Senior Mechanical & Pipe Fitting Engineer with over 18 years
of extensive Training and field industrial experience. His Expert covers Components
Making Using Hand Tools & Fitting Techniques, Pipefitting, Lathes, CNC, Milling,
Cutting and Grinding Machine, Mechanical Components, Heat Exchangers, Diesel
Engines, Gearboxes, Boilers & Burners, Piping System, Valves, Pumps, Cranes,
Mechanical Maintenance, OHS.

Abdallah also is well-versed in Composite Material selection, Heat Exchanger


Modelling, Design & Modification as well as various software’s including AutoCAD,
Solidwork and onshap. He delivered training program at the KNPC (Kuwait),
Haward Technology ME (UAE) and National Industry Training Institute (NITI-KSA).
He has been worked a Mechanical Maintenance Head (Jordan), Plant Manager /
Procurement Manager (MHC -KSA).
