Overview:
Mobile technology is becoming popular for user experience as it
allows for easy access to applications and services from any
location. Commonly used mobile operating systems include Android,
Apple, Windows, and Blackberry. These operating systems provide a
wide range of applications and services for users, such as the
Contacts application for storing contact information and
connecting calls or sending text messages. These features have
led to the implementation of various sensors and functionalities
in mobile devices. An example of a popular application on the
iPhone is Siri, which allows users to communicate with their
phone using voice commands and also provides voice responses.
Google also developed a similar application called Google Voice
Search, which is used on Android phones but mostly requires
internet connectivity. The proposed system is a personal
assistant with voice recognition intelligence, which can work
with or without internet connectivity, it takes user input in the
form of voice or text and process it and returns the output in
various forms like action to be performed or the search result is
dictated to the end user. As the researchers knows that some voice
assistant is can use without network connection.

3. PERSONAL VOICE ASSISTANT
Overview:
In the 21st century, there is a growing trend towards automation
in various aspects of life, including homes and cars. There has
been a significant advancement in technology in recent years,
which has led to the ability to interact with machines through
voice commands. This allows for a more natural and efficient way
to give input to machines, rather than traditional typing. This
type of interaction is similar to having a personal assistant
that can understand and respond to voice commands, and even
provide better alternatives. The ability to interact with
machines through voice commands is a revolutionary way for humans
to interact with technology. Therefor, the voice command create
through the advancement of technology.

Statement of the problem
As the study conducted, these are the problem that researchers come
across:
5
General Objective
Specific Objectives
6
The propose research is design and developed for Cebu Roosevelt
Memorial Collages, the researcher’s objective is to provide an android
voice assistant that will aid the student and visitors to have a
convenient way to finish their certain task within the establishment.
Scopes
The user can use a voice command to interact with the
application.
The user can type a command to interact with the application.
The application will display a map of the location that the user
is looking for.
The application will display a text of the procedure of a certain
paperwork.
The application will voice out the procedure of a certain
paperwork.
Limitations
The application runs only for android 5 and above.
The application runs only for android devices that have API 21
and above.
7
The aim of this research is to assist students and visitors.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
8
Research methodology is a study of methods, rules, or ideas that
are important in research. It is the analysis of principles or inquiry
in a particular field. This section discusses research design,
research environment, research respondents or information and research
procedures.
Research Design:
The researchers, used the descriptive survey method using
questionnaires we implemented. The survey questionnaires were
distributed to the students, visitors of Cebu Roosevelt Memorial
Colleges. The paper and pen is the primary tool used in gathering
data.
Research Respondents:
In our study, the total number of respondents is one hundred
seven (101). Thus involves one hundred (100) students and six visitors
(6) and one (1) custodian.
Research Environment:
The study was carried out in the Cebu Roosevelt memorial Colleges
on San Vicente Street, Bogo City, Cebu.
Research Instrument:
Students, guest and custodian of Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges
receive a questionnaires.
Treatment of data
9
the researchers, wrote a letter of permission for our Dean in the
college of Computer Studies to ask for approval of our system.
Finally, it’s granted, so we prepared one hundred twelve (107) survey
questions and distributed them to one hundred (100) students, ten (6)
visitors and two (1) custodians. We conduct our survey through face-
to-face process. After the survey, the results were tallied and the
percentage was established using this formula.
