INTRODUCTION

Rationale of the study

Technologies are products that were created to solve particular

issues and improve daily living. As technology advances, artificial
intelligence, or AI, is created. It is a branch of computer science
that aims to build intelligent machines that can perform tasks as well
as or even better than humans. It is concerned with getting computers
to do tasks that would normally require human intelligence. AI
applications voice assistant.

Technologies continues to have a major effect on society. It also has

an influence on the way individual connects, learn, and think about
how to interact with others on a daily basis. Artificial Intelligent
(AI) is now utilized in a variety of fields, such as voice assistant,
which an application that can recognize and respond via integrated
voices.

The researchers, decide to develop an AI to assist student and

visitors when visiting to the establishment, entitled “Voice assistant

1. PERSONAL VIRTUAL ASSISTANT FOR WINDOWS USING PYTHON

Overview:
A virtual assistant is a software program that can understand
natural language and voice commands to complete tasks for the
user. It can perform tasks such as showing the date and time,
managing emails, and opening apps on command. Virtual assistants
are typically cloud-based and require internet-connected devices.
They are flexible and can be contracted for specific services.
They are task-oriented and use artificial intelligence
technology, often with the programming language python. Examples
of popular virtual assistants include Siri, Google Assistant,
Alexa, and Microsoft Cortona. They use natural language
processing to match user input to commands, and use microphone
and speaker as input and output devices respectively. In this
study it helps researchers to undertsnd what is a voice assistant and
what it’s capability.

Features:
● Virtual assistants can provide several services,

● Showing weather condition.

● Scheduling appointment.

● Making travelling arrangements.

2
● Play music, movies, etc.

● Showing datetime.

● Managing emails.

● Open apps.

2. Personal Assistant with Voice Recognition Intelligence

Overview:
Mobile technology is becoming popular for user experience as it
allows for easy access to applications and services from any
location. Commonly used mobile operating systems include Android,
Apple, Windows, and Blackberry. These operating systems provide a
wide range of applications and services for users, such as the
Contacts application for storing contact information and
connecting calls or sending text messages. These features have
led to the implementation of various sensors and functionalities
in mobile devices. An example of a popular application on the
iPhone is Siri, which allows users to communicate with their
phone using voice commands and also provides voice responses.
Google also developed a similar application called Google Voice
Search, which is used on Android phones but mostly requires
internet connectivity. The proposed system is a personal
assistant with voice recognition intelligence, which can work
with or without internet connectivity, it takes user input in the
form of voice or text and process it and returns the output in
various forms like action to be performed or the search result is
dictated to the end user. As the researchers knows that some voice
assistant is can use without network connection.

3. PERSONAL VOICE ASSISTANT

Overview:
In the 21st century, there is a growing trend towards automation
in various aspects of life, including homes and cars. There has
been a significant advancement in technology in recent years,
which has led to the ability to interact with machines through
voice commands. This allows for a more natural and efficient way
to give input to machines, rather than traditional typing. This
type of interaction is similar to having a personal assistant
that can understand and respond to voice commands, and even
provide better alternatives. The ability to interact with
machines through voice commands is a revolutionary way for humans
to interact with technology. Therefor, the voice command create
through the advancement of technology.

Features:
● Greetings of Voice Assistant

● Time, Date, day and Year

● Weather, Temperature and Humidity

● Adding Notes

● Reading Notes

Conclusion

Based on the findings made by the researchers, it is evident that

student and visitor of Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges has troubled
on getting information manually. The system will be useful in

67
disseminating information, and will surely help the student and
visitor in a faster method of of visiting the establishment.

The Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges needs an application that will

display an information. The researchers believe that the findings in
the study will contribute significantly to the students and visitors.

Recommendations

We, the researchers recommend that Cebu Roosevelt Memorial

Colleges should use our application, “Voice assistant for android:
tool for student and visitor”. Through this application, the
establishment van provide faster, accurate and reliable in getting
information for the students and visitor. Recommendation are given to
the following such as:

Student and visitor

Student and visitor can easily get the information about the
process of a certain paperwork, the location of the room of a specific
teacher and the location of a certain room.

and interchangeable software and hardware that is fully assembled and
ready to use and that has a well-defined interface to another
component.

In terms of programming language, the researchers choose to use

the dart language to be relative easy to learn and to use also the
application made offline, but the android devices should have a
version of 21 and above.

This figure shows the package of system application has a GUI

support consisting flutter. These will be into the computer so that a
user can operate the application.

1. student and visitors – They can use their voice command to tell
the application what information they want.

This figure shows that the application is secure and no third party
can get the users information.

1. Flutter it is used to develop desktop application, mobile

application and website.

Implementation strategy

70
After the application was completed and fully developed by the
researchers, the system is now ready to be used.

First, the researchers must demonstrate to the student and visitor to

demonstrate how to use the system.

Second, the researchers must represent it to the Cebu Roosevelt

Memorial Colleges.

The staff of Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges demonstrate the process

on how to use the application and how it works. The student and
visitor can now use their voice as a command using the application,
“Voice assistant for android: tool for student and visitor”.
