1.1.Work Break-Down Structure Stages

Stage 1. Preparing of Poles to be Erected.
i) Carry out all the necessary welding works at the campsite (Daniel Waswas Laydown area)

Stage 2. Pole Erection/Installation

i) Identifying and preparing the location of the pole to be erected
ii) Moving pole from cam site to the location where it will be erected
iii) Preparing for foundation and pole up the poles

Stage 3. Dressing poles with cross arms

Stage 4. Putting up conductors/black service line
Stage 5. Checking, tying, and pumping the conductions
Stage 6. MEN (Al-Cu); connect from the main power grid/supply to the service line

1.2.Current Work Progress

2. Erected 12 poles
3. 3 more poles are to be erected
4. Inspect existing poles whether to be used or not.
5. Working at a rate of 3/4poles per day.
6. Factors affecting work.
i) Minor quarrels with the residents living in the area the poles are to be erected.
ii) Bad weather is a challenge. when it rains we are forced to stop and it has been raining a lot in the month
of April.
iii) When manoeuvring our way around some tight locations is challenging.
At the moment we are working in Zone 1, completed Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the work. So far 12 poles have been erected
and 3 more poles to yet to be erected. The target is to get stage 2 completed by this week Friday. (30/04/2023).

2. Aron-Sowa Road

Stage 1. Clearing & grubbing from Weap Ipa to Nipa Station (Nembi River) i.e. approximately 3.3km

2.2.Factors Affecting Work Delay

i) Weather
- Since it is a fresh-cut road, during rainy days it is difficult to work.
ii) Local
- Since we resumed work on January 12 2023, the following are some of the resistance encountered:
o land issues,
o damaging machines and trucks, stealing fuel,
o threatening company employees
o Complaints from Quarry land owners
o Purchasing of fuel from Hagen to the Project Site for reasons beyond our control.

2.3.Current Work Stage

i) Completed Stage 1 (clearing & grubbing) i.e. from Hindit Primary School to Nipa Station (Nembi River).
ii) About to commence on Stages 2, i.e. gravelling of subbase materials and installation of culverts. Note that
Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the work structure are intertwined.

Stage 2. Digging of trench/drainage around the perimeter of the designated area

Stage 3. Construction of HausMan & Grandstand
Stage 4. Obtain subbase materials (boulders) for the laydown area
Stage 5. Construction of retaining wall
i) Establishing a gabion basket to act as a retaining wall on the riverside

3.3.Current Work Stage

i) Finished clearing vegetation
ii) At the moment we’re cutting slope and planning mobilizing materials to construct HausMan & Grandstand
o We expect to have the hausMan erected within the next 14 days.

Report Summary
1. Power prophecy
o About 65% per cent of the work is completed in Zone 1. Zone 2 and Zone 3 to cover.
2. Aron-Sowa Road project
o Completed clearing grubbing or earthworks to Nipa station. (100%).
o Right doing we will be doing gravelling and culvert installation for the remaining 3km from Hindit
Primary School to Nipa Station.
3. MPs Residency
o We finished clearing vegetation and waste materials.
o At the moment, we are looking into levelling of the land and construction of HausMan & Grandstand.
