How to Order
Batteries can be ordered on Daily and Stock orders. Orders will be delivered to your dealership within five working days from
date of receipt by Interstate.

No cost “Emergency” delivery (within 48 hours) is available. You must contact your facing Honda Parts Center Dealer Analyst,
who will coordinate the delivery with Interstate Batteries. Do not order batteries on a UPO.
Delivery
Your local Interstate Batteries Route Sales Manager will deliver all Honda Genuine Replacement Batteries directly to your deal-
ership. Batteries will arrive fully charged, load tested, and with protective terminal caps. A copy of the Dealer Order Delivery
Document (DODD) will be signed by the dealer and left as the official receipt. It will contain a record of the return cores.

Core Charges and Credits

A $5 core charge will be added to each Honda Genuine Replacement Battery ordered. Upon delivery of product, the Interstate
Batteries Route Sales Manager will collect the spent cores, provide a receipt and forward the information to American Honda for
credit to your monthly Parts Statement. All cores will be picked up by the Interstate Battery Distributor and noted on the DODD.
There will be an annual review of battery purchases and cores returned. Excess core credit may be adjusted down to the lead
value of the cores and a debit made to the Dealerʼs balance-forward account.

Warranty
Honda Genuine Replacement Batteries are covered by a 100 month prorated warranty. For a complete Honda genuine battery
warranty proceedures, please refer to the Service Operations Manual section 2.16.3 and 2.16.4
Proration Schedule
During first 3 years of service – Defective replacement battery will be replaced at no cost to the customer with a new Honda
Genuine Replacement Battery and installation.
After first 3 years of service – Prorated credit, based on years of service, will be applied toward the purchase of a new Honda
Genuine Replacement Battery. Owner is responsible for installation expense. No cash reimbursement will be made. Credit is
calculated as follows:
